Awesome fight!! At first it looked like that villian, Marchment, was going to take it to Rivet, but then Rivet caught him with some really good shots. Nothing like Habs vs Leafs on HNIC, old time hockey!

Marchement landed a sucker punch on Rivet before they got a minor penalty each. That why Rivet was bleeding during the fight. But maybe he got some punches that opened the flow...

Whatever. Rivet obviously landed more punches no question, so if we're using boxing scoring then yes he "won" the fight. Id still like to see the two of them go at it again though, one of the better fights Ive seen this year.

Rivet was bleeding from the nose when he went to the box. Marchment did land some shots and managed to get that blood flowing again, but Rivet clearly got this best of him ( in the opinion of this Wings fan ).

Rivet was already bleeding before the fight, but there was no clear cut winner. Rivet moved his right arm a lot at one point. That doesn't mean he landed more punches. It was a tie.

Aren't the Montreal Canadiens owned by an american? Just cause you draw crowds doesn't mean you make money. Making money isn't about drawing crowds. Lots of teams draw crowd and still lose money. Most of the money is made from TV Contracts, Merchandise sales, Attendance.

So what are you saying? That Montreal has no fans? There are probably as many Hab fans as Leaf fans. I would imagine we would have a large amount of revenue coming from Merchandise sales etc.
