The Force score 2 goals in the third period and win 2-1 to take a 1-0 game lead in the best of 5 championship series.They are now 7-0 in the playoffs and yes this is an expansion team.
I think it'll be good for them to finally have multiple games at home in a series. They've got to start limiting the shots on Lee though. He was human tonight but still made 30 saves. He's been the man so far but they need to help him out more on the back end.
Great game last night for the ICE. I was there and the Force did a great job responding after the first goal. The refs let the boys be boys for a lot of the game. There was a great tempo to the game and a decent crowd for an Indiana hockey game. Series tied at 1 and I'm hoping it goes to 5 so I can see the Ice one more time this year.
Kind of glad I wasn't able to make the Force game tonite as they get pummeled again at home 5-1 as Indiana wins the Clark Cup.Mike Lee didn't exactly end his Force career on a high note.After getting pulled on Wed. nite after 3 goals and 1 save he surrenders 5 tonite on 18 shots.

Didn't get to see any of it, but I wonder if Lee just wore down or if the Ice had his number. Either way, I'm excited to see this kid wearing Cardinal and Black.
Congrats to the Ice. I was rooting for Fargo, but it doesn't surprise me that Indy won. Too much firepower with Cichy, Richardson, and Galiev. Getting Sebastian Geoffrion added much needed grit to that team
I think Fargo just ran out of steam at the end. They swept two very good teams back to back, and won that first game against Indy. 7 straight wins, then 3 straight losses. Taranto and Lee were playing lights out when they were on. I've seen better goaltenders come through the USHL, but Lee is definatley one of the top five.
Lee is a pretty darn good 'tender. In the 2nd period of the 2nd game he let in this really soft goal 20-30 seconds after letting a tough one past him and his confidence went right down the tube.
Lee is def on of the better goalies to come through. Great job by the Force and btw I love your arena, much better than the dump here.
Le Colisee de Pepsi is a wonderful old barn. Congrats to the Ice on the Clark Cup. Indy has won a championship in every league it competed in, except the WHA......and if our owner hadn't sold a certain 18 yr old phenom, who knows what would have been.
Went to the Fargo Force game last nite against the Indiana Ice. Mullin for the Force was the best player on the ice and whatever college he is going to they are getting a good one. Oliver for the Force was the hardest worker by far as he never took a shift off. Maasa in net was good and I do know he is going to play for Blaise at UNO. Force won the game 5-3 in a pretty entertaining game.
