Yea...my organization won't let me wear "old shoes" while attending a USHL game.
By the way, no complaints about the parking going from $3 to $5 midseason, right? Roll with the punches! No sweat off my back, still got a parking pass and it actually makes it more of a value!...after they raised the price from last season.
WAIT!
You pay for parking?
How did I get away with parking for free at Force games? Oops.

You take the bus or park on the street? I thought those rent-a-cop, parking authority people were cracking down on that? The Force said themselves that "parking on 32nd Ave is illegal". Somehow they control the public streets in front of Scheels Arena this season.
“Bruce Boudreau won a championship in the East Coast League (ECHL) in Biloxi, but my record at that level is a lot better than his and he took over a team that was already established. I started with two teams from scratch not having a puck, and the one team won in our third year and the other in our fourth. We built those. Bruce went on and got the opportunity to the AHL, and a couple years later, the head coach got fired and he stepped in with young kids Washington brought up. He has some success, and at the same token, you saw what happened with him in Washington this year. He’s in Anaheim now where he hasn’t done much. I am not throwing Bruce under the bus, but I’ll match resumes with anyone – yet here you sit.”
A whole bunch of @#^& talk about Boudreau, when he's never even had a sniff at the AHL, let alone the NHL. Boudreau was one of the top coaches in the AHL from 01-07, earning his shot at the NHL with TWO clubs after. While Marks was in the ECHL/SPHL(lol)/IHL, including leading two teams to DEAD LAST in their league's records with Dayton and Pensacola in that same time period. I liked the line stating that his ECHL record was better than Bruce's, it's not Bruce's fault he didn't have to spend 2 decades in that league before people noticed how good of a coach he was.

So he is a bit bitter for not getting a call. Not the first coach or the last coach that will have gotten looked over. I for one like the guy. He is a great interview with a personality unlike so many robot type coaches these days. I hope he sticks with the Force for a couple more years if not longer but the way he has moved around I'm not holding my breath.

He is very good at attempting to put other people down, including teenagers as the quotes I earlier stated. Just makes him look...hilariously senile and crotchety to be trashing Boudreau so hard when he's done absolutely nothing at the AHL level, let alone the NHL level. He is a great interview if you just want to sit back and laugh at someone. It's not every day that you hear a minor leaguer(Marks) chirp at a pro(Boudreau). He's like that kid from your graduating class at the ten year reuninon, constantly talking about those games he won in high school, while every one else is ten times more successful in their lives.
Zane Gothberg was simply outstanding in the nets last night for the Fargo Force. The Lincoln Stars team completely dominated his Force squad and had to go to OT to move on in the USHL playoffs. No way it goes into overtime without Zane between the pipes. Looking forward to seeing him in a Fighting Sioux jersey next fall.
Congrats to my buddy Mason Morelli of Minot who was drafted 3rd overall by the Fargo Force in the USHL Futures draft. I coached him with his dad when he was a squirt on a summer AAA team. Masons dad and grandpa both played for the Sioux. I'd say it's a good chance that there will be a 3rd generation.
Just talked to his dad and he will play for the Minot Tauros next season then move onto the Force which would be his senior year in high school.

It's looking like for the first time in the short existance of the Force that they will have the same coach for back to back seasons. I haven't heard or read anything different.
