I agree here... But Bouillon might just want more money and ice time then a 7th defensemen (under 1M)

I think it will a depends on the season he'll have and at what price he is ready to sign...

Right now, he is fine as a number 6 d-man playing 12-14 minutes a game.

Next year, it's another story with all the very good young d-men in the pipeline. You can keep him as a 7th d-man (at a lower salary of course), trade him during this season or let him go as a UFA.
