Horcoff to Habs

He said it, just passing on the info. Discuss.

I think it's crap cause his stance the whole time has been the Habs and Oilers swapping kids, so this is completely off. We either listen to his rumors or not, but when they contradict you have to wonder what he even got right.

We just re-signed Horcoff and he has a limited NMC.

Unless he waived it for Montreal. Highly unlikely Horc is going anywhere.

Eklund will always use players from the more popular fan bases. Why? Because it generates more hits to his site which generates more revenues from his ads. Do your research with his rumors and you'll see what I mean.

****! Normally I can ignore threads with Eklund in the title but this is too stupid. Please stop visiting his site, he's scamming all of you and laughing while he does it!

Just ignore him!

Unless Horcoff absolutely did something to backstab Lowe or smear the Oilers' franchise over the past couple of days, there is no way they are trading this guy. He is a warrior for the team, a tremendous leader, a dependable player and enjoys playing in Edmonton. I can't see why this deal would happen...

Bob Gainey losses his mind and offers up Price, Higgins, Komisarek and Plekanec?

Besides that...

What an idiotic rumor.

I like Horcoff actually, and have really warmed up to him. He is such a character guy, I really admire him. Also, he is an absolute beast when it comes to training, as Chris Chelios acknowledged he was the fittest guy in the league. However, I'd rather keep Plekanec as our number 1 centre. I think Pleks has more to offer ultimately, and will prove to be a better player in the coming years (although at present, I would give a slight edge to Horc).

That's OK, we'll take Price and Komisarek instead.

Eklund is about as reliable as a crack addict, that being said, I dont mind his rumors popping up here, it saves me the trouble of visiting his site and putting money in his pocket.

Theres a reason he bills himself as the "Anonymous Hockey Blogger".

This is just Eklund trying to get some hits, because of the Sundin to the Rags or Philly stuff...gotta admire his spunk to propose stuff out of the air!

'Cause he once in a while has a few of them right. Thing is he says so many things that his percentage could be lower than most us. Then some people will say that it's normal that he doesn't have a lot of success, he's just reporting what he hears and since it's normal that most of the talks never happens, he's still reliable.

Oh and he was on the ice when the Wings got the Cup! Makes him reliable as far as trade rumors are concerned...

He might have some connections 'cause of the UFA's he gets from time to time. But as far as trade rumors are concerned, it's NOT his field of expertise....but I guess we'll never learn that.....'cause at one point out of the 1 million things he'll say next, he'll have 1 right, making him reliable once again....

Anyway at worst, it makes him a "subject starter" nothing else...
