That's 8 of us who are cool with the draft time- how about the other 8 posters?

Atta boy.

If I get 10 that confirm that they are ok with the draft as it is, I'll lock it in because that's a majority.

Personally, I think it's early in the pre-season, but that could be because I have done zero prep. I just finished drafting football leagues for pete's sake. Two weeks from Sunday (9-28) would get us into camps and even some preseason games.

Additionally, my daughter is doing her 4-H project(s) at the Delaware County Fair Saturday and Sunday, with family coming into town and all that.

All that said, I'll try and get home and in front of a computer. I expect you'll get the couple more confirms needed with or without me. If you are all afraid to take me on unless my team is autopicked, then that's cool.

I agree with DSL that the date is a little early and many things can happen between Sunday and the end of training camp (injuries, cuts, etc.). The date and time are good for me so if everyone agrees, I will be there.

The date and time are good for me, and it wouldn't matter because DSL is getting relegated anyways.

I have always preferred to have early drafts, because that forces managers to be on the ball during camp, monitering cuts and injuries. It's kind of exciting to hear about a cut or injury and rushing to a computer to make adjustments to your roster.

Early drafts add a little extra element IMO.

With a handful of people having overlapping schedules, and some people wanting the draft to be later, combined with the fact that I have a game myself tomorrow night, I tentatively moved the draft to next Sunday, the 21st at 8:30ET.

How does that work for people?

Please some, screw others. I remember this game.

I'll just keep watching this thread for the final date and will probably be available.

lets try and have more than one day notice before the next postponement, though if possible

But, yes, theoretically, the 21st works for me.
