I hope so. Corrente has had two strong training camps so far, and with a third this year he should make the team.

He can't be much worse than Mottau and Brookbank. And if he can't beat out those two, he doesn't belong on the team yet anyway.

Would he really be that terrible of a 7th D-man for the Rangers?

yes.

He was already seen playing preseason games with a Russian team. So he is going back.

Fair enough. I haven't really followed him. Last I heard about him was from the Devs fans hoping that he would "lay out" Gomez during the first round of the playoffs.

I saw a 5 year old on skates last week. He spent most of his time on his rear end but if we don't take him someone else will. If we don't sign him we are doomed to eternal Hell!

Devils management sure hopes so. Suspension, no cap hit and loss of salary.

If that was the case, they would have waited until camp to waive him, to make sure first that Corrente was ready. If they are waiving him now, there's other reasons.

Ehh, i don't think so. Like most cases, his bad play was slightly exaggerated. He's a decent 7th guy that you can throw in for a lot of grit. He's a decent skater, and a great checker. But thats about it. And as I'm sure you'll all hear, if you don't know already, a lot of times he's horrible positionally (usually due to big hits placing him there)

Wow guys, he really isn't that bad. He plays a style that nobody else on this team does. And hey we get him that free us up to trade Rozy

Me too, I was just joking at the end. But I don't think he's as bad as some have made him out to be.

Let's not forget that Vishnevski is a HUGE hitter, which we badly need.

Get him, Trade Rozsival, Sign Sundin
