Who will score the first goal of the season?

My guess goes to Matthias, assisted by Booth and Ballard

Horton, he'll work the puck to the slot, and launch his rocket of a wrist shot top shelf.

I'll go with Horton as well, especially against Carolina.

Vokoun. He'll get the puck behind the net on a dump-in, whip it all the way down to the other end (we'll be short-handed), it'll take a crazy bounce, Toskala style, and end up in the net.

That was Toskala, wasn't it?

The year before, Bertuzzi scored our first goal.

how symbolic would it be if Zednik scored? If he scores the first I'm calling play-offs

I'll go with Stillman, McCabe, Ballard or Boynton. I also think it will be a new Panther to score the first goal of the season for the third straight year. You can also add anybody else that may be coming to Florida from Toronto to my list.

I can definately see it, "McCabe shoots from the point it hits Belak, and it goes in"!

Bouwmeester...and that'll be the last we see of him until he's traded in February...

Damn, who hit my cynic switch this morning?

I've noticed that all Poli-Sci majors seem to be rabid cynics.
