One word. Relax. It's nowhere near as hard as some would have you believe. Have fun, go around and meet everyone in your dorm. Where are you going?

Waterloo.

I am in the Accounting and Financial Management program. My dorm is meant only for those students, so I'll meet everyone in my program pretty quickly.

Ahh, in that case you might have a hard time finding 7 babes in Waterloo to bang in one week, however you got Laurier next door so you're still in good shape.

Yah I was so pumped for Western but it didn't have any program in comparison to Waterloo. Career and Money first.

Seriously though, there are NO good looking girls at Waterloo. Well a few, you know what I mean. When I was there though....

I moved in to my school on the 21st, and was thrown in to a single room so I have no roommate. My advice from stuff that I picked up so far is really get to know the people who live around you because you'll be seeing them more than anyone else.

And go party!! (it's funny taht I say that because I'm sitting in my dorm, alone, on HF, while my friends are at a frat party...damn class at 9 am )

I know someone from the actuarial school at waterloo.

Anyway, meet people, but don't stress about it your first day or two, it will happen as long as you're friendly.

Not the place to look for girls, as I've discovered in my 2 years in school so far. Check out some other dorms

If you have a board on your door write, "(Your name) has a really big ----". They'll come right in. Now that the keys in the ignition, start the car and whip out the shot glasses. You'll be riding in no time.

Waterloo Alum here...graduated last year...

Well you could have joined my fraternity in it's prime because we used to click, I would say it's fallen off a bit since.

Waterloo is a great school, but not the best for girls. I hope you like Asian chicks! (ahh, if you don't yet you will by the time you graduate, especially in AFM)

For easy girls I'd recommend hitting up Phil's, Revolution and Philthy's; those three bars are the best (For that). Talk to everyone, become the man of the floor and your stock will rise. It's called a social network for a reason, get to know friends' friends and you'll be a recognizable face on campus.

To be honest you've made a great pick with AFM at Waterloo, I have about 10 friends from that program and all are making close to six-figures, but they're stressed as ****. Get into the Masters program if you can; it's where it's at!.

Great choice though man, work hard and go to Bomber every Wednesday once you're 19.

Note: I bolded Asian, by my count at least 70% of the girls in the AFM program are Asian.

Don't let school get in the way of college.

best thing to do is just not worry about anything, getting stressed doesn't help you at all, fail a class and your life still continues even if you fall out of college there is plenty of stuff you can do,college is the most popular way to find a career but it isn't the only one, while i dont encourage dropping out of college just know that it isn't the end of your life, its a lot easier to get through that way.

Secondly attend class, last semester i didn't buy any books but went to all my classes and took notes and got 2 As and 2 Bs, first semester i had books but opened them up just a couple of times, this doesn't work for everyone most people need to buy books but the point is go to class and you will do much better.
