WooHoo. one of my favourite players all-time. all we need is Sundin to sign with Vancouver or Toronto, and Shanahan re-sign with the Rangers and it'll be a good summer IMO.

Glad to see Burnaby Joe back for another season. The guy is all class and is still and excellent player. I'm guessing that there are a lot of people in Denver heaving a sigh of relief!! But the other teams in NW aren't

Great to hear, hockey wouldn't be the same without Sakic. He's still a great player so it would have been sad to see him go so soon.

He probably announced it today cause he wanted to avoid his golf tournament being filled with just are you going to play again sakic questions. Now the focus can be just on the charity golf tournament.
