Tickets to Kings game

Hey you guys!
My name is Rasmus Hallgren and I'm from Kings fan from Sweden. I February 2009, me and my friend is going to LA to watch the game Oilers at Kings. I've problems to find how much the tickets/game cost. At the website I've only found Season Tickets, Big Games Tickets and so on..

Please help me how much, where to order the tickets.

Kind Regards,
Rasmus Hallgren

The best place to find tickets would either be from stubhub or ebay

Here are the tickets on stubub for that game

http://www.stubhub.com/los-angeles-k...4-2009-679246/

Your name is Rasmus, sweet!

As LBFF said, stubhub or ebay is the way to go.

You can also try craigslist during the week of the game.

By the time February rolls around you should get them for free.

The reason you can't find single tickets on the Kings website is because they don't go on sale until the middle of September. You'll have to wait until then if you want to buy them from ticketmaster but as suggested in this thread you'll want to get them from ebay, craigslist and stubhub as they are cheaper there. Stubhub has fees though so it too can get pricey unless the tickets are dirt cheap (which is entirely possible).

You might also check back here in October because I believe the have a thread with people selling their tickets here.

I know that when I tried to buy from Stubhub, I had to have a n American credit/debit card. So I would say that the best choice is to buy your tickets on eBay.

You could always call the Kings directly too. I'm sure they'll be happy to assist an international fan. 1-888-KingsLA.

However, tickets are cheaper on eBay, Stubhub or almost any site other than Ticketmaster.

If you went to the trouble of counterfeiting something, why would you counterfeit Kings tickets? You might as well counterfeit monopoly money.

Buying them from a scalper is one thing but I sold tickets of my own and always offered to walk in with the people. And a lot of those scalpers are down there every game. If you buy them from one of the regulars, I doubt they are going to rip you off but you could always ask them to walk with you up until you get in.

Monopoly money might be worth more right now.

Uhhhmmmm...isn't that illegal? I do believe that it is. And if so, I for one would rather pay a little more money to make sure that I am going to see the game inside of Staples Center, rather than the inside of a police station. And if not, then I am going to rethink my plans for watching Kings games live at the Staples Center this year.

Meh I've seen people buy tickets from scalpers all the time right infront of or near policemen. Probably still a risk but have definately walked to the arena quite a few times and seen scalpers on the corners asking just about every person while a cop was standing at the corner and someone accepting the scalpers offer and the cop doing nothing.

It's only illegal if youre selling them for a profit. If you sell them for market value or less it's no big deal.

I'm going to see either Detroit or Vancouver play at the Staples Center in October and was wondering if it is possible to get tickets for less than face value once the game has started?
I know in New York the scalpers are crazy and they get pretty pissed off if you try to offer less than face value, even once the first period is well under way.

It really depends on the crackhead that is trying to sell them to you.

You are better of trying to by them on ebay or stubhub beforehand. You can likely find them for under face value there

Detroit is one of the few teams that actually might sell out and is one of the few teams that usually tickets go for above face value on ebay etc. Couldn't tell whether or not scalpers will cut you a break if the game is sold out even if the game has started. They'll know you have no other choice so it is a crap shoot.

Vancouver shouldn't be a problem though. And yes, generally if the game isn't sold out, the longer a game goes on the more likely the scalpers will dump them off. Just be firm and if they play hardball say something like "screw it.. I'll just go drink and watch the game at the sky box". They'll probably follow you and try and negotiate.

Most of the scalpers are pretty cool. I usually use them if I want to upgrade, just try and get the jump on them and do all the talking. I usually give up my upper level seats and 50 or 60 bucks and I can usually land in the 100's. It also helps to let them know if you are a STH that they can turn in the tickets for a future game.

They are on their best behavior and aren't going to rip you off (unless you let them). Every time I have upgraded, my original seats have been empty.
