Les Chouinards

What do y'all think of the Chouinards? I think Marc has played pretty well, at the beginning of the season and again recently since he's gotten his strength back.

Eric doesn't seem to be much of a skater or hitter from what I've seen. He's been pretty invisible to me when he's out there.

I say we get as many Chouinards as possible.

Only one left to get if memory serves me right. Mathieu Chouinard, another bust from the 1998 first round. I believe he's now with LA.

He's finally made it as the 3rd goalie. With Cechmanek hurt he is backing up Cristobol Huet.

Eric is a good skater. That's it though.

Marc has been good on the faceoff and basically taking up space. Not real physical for the size but has been a better than average defender. Not much for playmaking or speed. Some games he becomes invisible, others he is a moderate contributer. Overall Grade: C-

Eric is more of a project than I had thought upon acquistion. Like Go Kim says, good skater, deceiving speed IMO, but not real strong, if that is possible. His shot isn't anything special, but does have a little zip. Doesn't seem too shy about shooting either. Needs to work on his defense for sure. Could still turn out to be a "glue" type guy in the future. Overall grade: incomplete

I think Eric is a pretty poor skater, bottom half of the teams forwards. Seems to have some offensive awareness/shot, and not much else.
Marc has thrown some nice hits (3) has played some decent PK hockey. The older one probably brings a bit more to the table at this time.
