Yes, I live in L.A. I only moved here a couple months ago due to work ... I lived in the Bay Area for my entire life before then.

Okay ... I'm an idiot. I admit it. I waited to create the Roto. League and now the all of Sunday evening for the 28th is no longer available. Would anyone not be able to participate if it were the Thursday the 25th at 7pm? I just don;t want to obligate people to do a draft on a Friday or Saturday evening ...

Also, anyone who wants to GM the other league, PM me ...

EDIT: Time of the draft has been officially changed to Thursday Sept. 25th @ 7:30pm. If you are not able to attend, you can always pre-draft your teams ... being there isn't mandatory.

Fair Warning!: I agreed to act as Commish for the 2nd Roto league, and this is your chance to complain to Nighthock and have someone else do it...

If you are in the 2nd league, I just have 2 rules that I expect folks to abide by in order to make it a fun experience for everyone.

Rule 1: You must play the game. That means set your line-ups regularly, respond rapidly to trade requests, and generally partake in the game. Remember, you can set your roster's weeks in advance, so if you are going to be away, set your roster's ahead of time and let the rest of the players know by posting a note on the league messages. The game is no fun if the only reason you are doing well is if some of the players aren't bothering to take part in the game.

Rule 2: You MUST be polite. A bit of smack-talk is to be expected and is fun. But outright rudeness and abusive language will get you banned from the league. That means if someone offers you a trade you don't feel is fair, make a counter-offer that gives them a bit of guidance. If there is no way you will trade a player say so. If you won't trade Player X but might trade a similar Player Y, then say that. Don't respond by calling them names or by ignoring the trade offer. You do not have the option of not picking up the phone as a GM in leagues I run.

Now, if you don't like those rules, feel free to tell NH that you want to be Commish instead of me. And if you like those rules and want to play in a H2H league, I still have about 6-8 positions open my personal H2H league. PM me if interested.

Using the same format of picking leagues/divisions as the H2H league, players were added based on when they signed up ... Leagues are tentatively set to 12 teams a league, and rules/positions were altered. Make sure you actually read them after you register your team! If there is more interest after the leagues are full, Vaasa and I will talk about it then ...

As of now, here is how they are divided:

Roto 1:

1.Nighthock
2.Baron von Shark
3.Emperor Joe Thornton
4.Bobdob
5.Lebanezer
6.superpie
7.Davidhye
8.endy
9.matt trick
10.
11.**Reserved**
12.**Reserved**

Roto 2:

1.Vaasa
2.Lee van Cleef
3.Hab Shark
4.The Gooooch
5.drunksage
6.jcast408
7.Shape
8.GuitarByte
9.
10.
11.
12.

I'll be PMing everyone shortly.

(Vaasa is not in complete control of Roto. 2 ... what he says, goes.)

The Hylian Sharks are set to dominate this league. I'm thinking of doing a shop of Link with a hockey stick instead of a master sword for my logo, but it's been awhile since I've used Photoshop. I'm now more versed in CADD since I use it everyday at school.

Unfortunately, I have reached the maximum of 4 teams on my account. Also, I'm pretty sure they'll all be pretty active (pending Vaasa's H2H filling up). I don't think I'll be able to join this league, but thanks for the invite!

I'm in the H2H league already, but if there is room I'd totally want to join the rotisserie one also! I'll gladly leave too if the league gets full and someone else wants to join.

OK, I guess I'll do this.

Team "Annoying" here for League 2. No, I didn't come up with this just now.

Hungry Hippo's right here.

My goal is to get rid of the image of Hippo's being these fun loving creatures in cartoons and stuff, they kill more humans than any other mammal out there.(can't say animal since mosquitoes are technically animals). More teams in the world should choose hippos as their name, they're beastly creatures.

Hmmm. Last I checked, homo sapiens were still mammals, so sorry Hippo, you're still #2.

obligatory almost on topic post: I was once in a rotisserie league which had the Fighting Homo Sapiens.

I'll invite my friend to league 2 if that's ok. He's also a Sharks fan, but he doesn't do message boards.

Also, do you think that it would be a little more interesting just to round up all the current players and put us in one league?

What kind of Sharks fan doesn't do message boards?

I am for keeping it 2 leagues in roto. The point totals will be a lot higher and with such thin (so many people in the other H2H league) pool in the other league it will be interesting IMO.

If we need to take one player to even up the 2 leagues than I am for that. But I don't think we should do much more than that.

This was the reason it was cut up into to two leagues and went from 20 teams to 12 ... we upped the required positions as well. I think we'll most likely keep it the way it is because of this.
