A quick shout out to Backin72...I used to post to the ESPN boards all the time and remember him (and a bunch of others here) as a great poster.
Although I do not post often anymore I did think of Terry last night.
I didn't really know Backin very well, but I know his spirit lingers in this place. He's probably high fiving Jesus and trying to get Buddha to put on a Bruins shirt right now.
This thread really goes to show how close this group of fans on this board really are.
How many people here personally knew Terry? Not many I'd presume. Yet he was one of the first people many of us thought about for sure when the game ended last night.
I never knew you Terry, as you passed before I had heard of these boards. Just wanted to say thanks for watching over our B's. I can tell from this thread that you were a great Bruins fan and an even better person. RIP

Never change Bruins HF, never change.
Came back to this board after a couple hours past the game and posted on the forum. Did not know him, but know the passion. Must have been a great guy Terry.
Pardon my lack of knowledge but what happened to Terry? It's so sad when you hear thing like that & fact this board to have it sticked shows the closeness of everyone here
Do you have get together's for games, do you know each other off the boards.
Terry, I don't know you but you are smiling down on your Bruins today. You will always be a part of the Bruins family.

Well, he may have passed 3 years before our Bruins won it all, but I'm sure Terry has a good seat for tonight's festivities. Rest assured that you are missed, Terry.

Hey Terry, the 6th stanley cup banner is being raised in the Garden tonight, wish you could be here to enjoy it with us but I know you're gonna be watching and smiling just the same.
I remember creeping this board a couple years back and seeing this thread. I saw that Backin72 was a Winnipegger and I saw that he passed while at a place I go to all the time. It really touched me and I never forgot this thread or this poster's name, Backin72.
There were a lot of B's supporter's in the crowd tonight and I can't imagine how happy he would have been to be among them.
