That is really sweet and great! Love it. But I thought this logo would be behind the net, as seen in NHL09 (well at least, one screen).

Hockey is coming .....LHJMQ this week, training camp in...less than 2 weeks I think.

I think it looks terrible because the center of the ice (everything between the two blue lines) is just way too jampacked

You should have seen my confusion when the thread title was originally just Centre Ice.

You helped a bit to clear the confusion... The title should have been "New Logo @ the Center of the Ice for the Bell Center"...

Yeah it's too messy. 2 centennial logos, 4 CentreBell logos? There's too much going on.

Its the four ads around the outside that make it really messy IMO.

But hey if it means George Gillett needs to do that to offset the taxes and makesure we spend right up to the cap... So be it.

I'm sure it's pretty much exactly that way, so I can't complain

Seriously i realy doubt that Gillet needs to put anything on the ice (except players) to pay his taxes or to spend to the salary cap. This hockey team is making money like water.

Way too busy, way too much corporate overhead.

- One huge '100' logo in the centre, get rid of the centre red line in the circle altogether. The logo's nice, no need for two.

- instead of the corporate garbage at the blue lines, pay homage to 4 players using jersey numbers/portraits. Rotate 4 players in for 10 games each, 40 players or so total, culminating with the big guys. Show off the history, make it interesting instead of a billboard.

Just my thoughts.

As nice as that might look, I don't think so. There's no way the Habs are giving up what is probably a huge source of advertising revenue.

Looks pretty good...

I was looking at the picture and I had a great idea. Imagine if the Canadiens would cut the ice in smal peices and sell it!! How awesome would that be?
