I believe it's only the first round the draft list is based on the playoffs, after that the other rounds are based on the team's records.

I think our top priority should be centers. We are god awful in depth for that position. But obviously we don't need instant depth in that, if we can resign Vermette. Brassard's extension shouldn't be a problem.
