THATS AWESOME.

Think 20 random HF posters could destroy Bulgaria?
20 random vegetables could beat them

EDIT: I also like the fact that not only did Bulgaria not score, they didn't get a single shot

if Bulgaria are now the Moral Victory kings, what are the Bruins

Unless it for the entire tournament?

167 + 25 = 192.. which is how many goals they let up in the tournament.

But thats still and average of about 100 shots against per game.

And Ron Tugnutt got a standing ovation after a measly, what, 73 shots?

Guess this poor goaltender needs some very strong perfume to hide the rubber smell from all those pucks…

The hockey federation ought to cap the points bonus at 5 or some similar number.

Hi! Just regged here to ask the following.

This match reminded me of something which I cant recall very well.
Does anyone remember a game (men's hockey) where a team beat another team with a equally score like this game (couldve been 82-0, 81-0, something like that anyway). It was some Asian, maybe Oceanic teams playing in 90s.. ( couldve been 80s also). I read about that in some very old icehockey book, just cant remember the teams and the score. Googling didn't help so im guessing it was maybe not a official match but a practise game. But for sure there is some records about it somewhere! ( i hope this is right place to ask this, couldve done a new thread about this too )

thx

They need to put this game on DVD or at least on TV once.. I'd watch this game just to see something that spectacular.

If I was the Bulgarian coach at like 65-0 I would have pulled the goalie and skate with 6 just to get at least 1 shot on goal.At that point who cares..

Poor Slovakian goalie!!

I remember playing with a bad hockey team and we got beat 12-0 once. And it was frikin huiliating and we were frickin pissed when they continued pressing on at 10-0.

I am having difficulty figuring out how this felt.

Poor Bulgarian goalie you mean, unless you fear the other tender was dying from boredom. Imagine, though, how black and blue the Bulgarian tender was after the game.

What's unreal is that she made 50+ saves cause the other goalie came in and allowed 5 goals on 5 shots!!

A couple. But it felt like we were playing shorthanded the whole game.

It might sound like fun, but really, all the suspense evaporates when they make it 50-0.

For those who care, you can watch parts of the game on youtube now. The Bulgarian aren't just bad, most of the girls don't even know how to skate.

Wow. I've played for only a year and I'm a terrible skater, but I believe I'm better than those Bulgarian ladies.

I honestly believe Canada could score 100 goals.
Just take clappers from the point as soon as they cross the line.

Judging from the clip, a half-decent pee-wee team could score 100.

I think I might be slightly better than the Bulgarian team... and I've only been playing off and on for 2.5 years, with almost no formal coaching. Fifteen years of competitive figure skating probably gives me an advantage in the skating department, though.
