Great interview from Timmins.

Seems like Trunev might cross the ocean next year.

OMG, RDS,

first, they say the small 6'6" Desharnais than Luc Gelinas say that Emelin is playing with Togliatti..

I need to find that old mp3. He compares the player's eyes to those of Maurice Richard.

Valentenko is a LD... O'Byrne a RD.

They are not competing against each other.

There are no LD currently on the team who can play RD. Josh gorges is currently a RD who can play left.

Missed the McGuire segment on CKAC....did somebody get who was cut this morning? I got that 5 kids were cut but if you go with the list, the expected cuts were the try-outs like Monahan and Riopel and the Junior and College guys like Fortier, Missiaen, Subban, Stejskal and Kristo. That's 7 guys.

But McGuire said 5, so who survived???

Fortier & Subban would be the obvious choices.

Not sure that is true.

http://habsinsideout.com/main/8923

Eighteen of the 23 skaters and goalies who have attended this week's Canadiens rookie camp will be staying on for the main camp, which begins tomorrow at the Bell Centre with medicals and fitness tests.

Last night, goalies Jason Missiaen and Nicola Riopel and Alexandre Monahan were returned to their junior teams, respectively in Peterborough, Moncton and Victoriaville.

Today, forward Danny Kristo and defenceman Joe Stejskal will return to their college programs in North Dakota and Dartmouth.

---

edit: cue another snake rant about the Kristo/college thing!

Not competing!

What are you saying man! You're infringing rule 122(4)

THEY'RE always competing.. and you're not allowed to like both.

Get with the programme or I'll have to revoke your hab fan license.

I really like O'Byrne so.... Valentenko is just another lazy russian player who don't care about winning the cup. We don't need another soft european player! And is shot is sooooo overrated! On the other side, O'Byrne is like an upgraded clone of Komisarek

I'm here, but we haven't signed him yet. I won't say too much as you can always bring Perron back in my face.

Don't worry I'll bring it back when it's time.....I also can't wait to see how Giroux will do with the Flyers....

Anyway, Mayer is doing much better than expected. While he had those moments I didn't like at the dev. camp where the most easiest shot would go in but then he would rebound with great saves, if he really is still there and is making the Pro camp, is somewhat a great accomplishment. He might even outplay Lacasse.....though that wouldn't be tough.....

Whoa now, I get a pardon for not rubbing this in your face. That's how these negotiations work!

He did get off to a rather impressive start in the Q...2.49 GAA, 65 of 70 shots saves for .929 SV% in 2 games...Saint John went 1-1 in 2 games missing their opening night first line from last year, and their top 4 d-men from last year...
