With the rookie camp being closed off to the public, is it just me or are the Canadiens being less accessible to the public this year? Maybe it is because of their surge in popularity amongst casual fans after last season. But I haven't seen any announcement of a Jamboree, and given the tight preseason schedule after this weekend I don't think they'll have one this year.

Habsinsideout is going to have a interview with Pac with comments from Timmins and Carbo, should be interesting.

Indeed. They'll also have words from Lang, which will be nice, though likely nothing more than the usual "I'm happy to be here, it's a good team...etc."

My dad's friends twin sister's husband's monkey's former owner's son's hockey team's coach is the Zamboni driver there. Here's the report I got telepathically from him.

BEAUREGARD, Thomas RW

-He has a wicked wrist shot, but someone taped a 'kick me' sign on his back.

CARLE, Mathieu D

-He never showed up. Rumor has it that he, for some reason, took a fight to Tampa Bay.

DESHARNAIS, David C

-You can see this guy has great skill, unfortunately he is very small. So small in fact Muller made a drill where in random points of the day he called out 'Catch the leprechaun!' and everybody chased him around the ice.

LATENDRESSE, Olivier C

-He was skinny and fast.

MAXWELL, Benjamin C

-Caught the 'leprechaun' twice.

MISSIAEN, Jason G

-Sweet baby Jesus.

PACIORETTY, Max LW

-Taped the 'kick me' sign on Beaureguard.

SUBBAN, P.K. D

-Man can he skate. He keeps doing the spin-o-rama though, even when he didn't have the puck.

VALENTENKO, Pavel D

-He was a beast out there. Kicked the crap out of Beaureguard. Even made him eat the 'kick me' sign.

WEBER, Yannick D

-He's a defenseman, knows how to skate forwards AND backwards

WHITE, Ryan C

-He doesn't excel in these types of things so I have to wait until the scrimmage 'til I judge.

I just can't think of any. Last year was pretty calm and organized. Okay it sucked for fans to be limited to one section, but who cares we were still there.

They just ****ing suck. I blame Mike.

That's just pretty odd considering that you are celebrating the 100th anniversary of the organization and want to get people to feel all the team's history and pride. I blame globalization and terrible marketing for this one.

Martin McGuire who follows the team is giving an interview in the Villeneuve's show on CKAC. Though they are concentrating about news regarding the top team, McGuire mentioned 2 names that did well today and that as far as he's concerned, as shown some progression in their respective games, Carle and Weber. These guys are the only names he mentioned so far.

He also said that Pacioretty showed some nice things but he has to adapt to the Pros 'cause he tried fancy stuff that didn't work....

Villeneuve with his stupid comments he keeps saying about Pacioretty as far as he thinks Pacioretty received some guarantees if he decided to quit school. Memo to Villeneuve...euh....I don't think so. Not Gainey's style and the Habs were clearly ready to let him stay another year. It's MaxPac who had the final word and decided to come.

Dany Dubé is coming in the next segment so stay tuned.

Well you know that box where inside you'd find a boxing glove attached to a spring and when he opens the box....

That could do it. But don't bother.

It also seems that Montreal as a lot of problems with their playing area surfaces....after the Saputo Stadium, seems that the Bell Centre is near dangerous.....

Well I could always replace the glove by a cream pie.

Is Ike screwing up the ice?

Too many shows it seems. But honestly, the ice is not what it used to be and the big factor is the numerous shows. Habs needs to be careful though. No need to lose players just by skating in our rink....

I'm not really worried...

Oh... Koivu blasting on CKAC oh noes...

FFS, they are reporters and they don't even know if Lang has kids or not.

Edit: Dany Dubé is not convinced that Pacioretty is totally NHL ready yet in his first impression and our depth. No surprise there...
