You definitely need sleep because you should have heard Bania's voice.

Try and get some rest today Stewart. Mondays are bad enough, without starting them off sick.

You should all see Burn After Reading.
Wait. Not all of you. Some people in the theatre weren't laughing at all. If you're the kind of person that takes everything a little too seriously, you won't like this movie.
But most of you should see it.

Do you mean is the movie for you or was I implying you were too much of a nerd to like it?

I just didn't want to be responsible for suggesting a movie that could really go either way. Some people were saying they really hated it when they walked out but most of us really enjoyed it. The haters were a minority, though. The self-indulgent aspiring novelist crowd loved it.

As for you, I can't really figure you out, but I think you're funny. This movie is therefore definitely for you. Go see it.

Really? I've always considered B of S to be borderline insane...which is probably why we get along so well.

Well then there's a good chance he wrote the movie. So which is it, Kibbles, Joel or Ethan?

I wouldn't say he's borderline insane.

I'd say he's.. excentric.

But definitely funny.

As opposed to the self-loathing people who've made it as novelists

Thanks. I can still remember back to the days where there would be so many brainless, unfunny, inconceivably bad movies that you'd have to wait 2 months just to catch a decent flick.

At least in this day and age there's enough put into making a motion picture that you can at least get something out of 1/2 of the movies you watch. I think this has made people a tad spoiled though, along with the snobbish mentality that the internet has brought us. People just like to find an excuse to hate things a lot of the time.

I'd have to admit 9/10 times I watch a movie and expect to be let down, only to really enjoy it. So many rules have been broken in mainstream movies that most directors these days actually have something to say. Except Michael Bay. Burn in hell.

Mmm, so glad to be home!

This weekend was crazy.... Good for dogs, I won lots of stuff, so that made my client happy... There was a tornado at home here, so lots of windblown branches.

Dad and I went to the bar last night to watch the Michigan- ND (Boo ND!) and the OSU-USC game. Halfway through the USC game, a d.j. showed up, and I was making friends at the bar. Dad got drunk and kept trying to pound it and missing, while I danced all night and got three numbers. Granted, one was a girl, but she was fun, and one guy was really HAWT. Like wow hot. I LOOOOOVE dancing! Got less then 5 hours of sleep, then had a good day, because I wore my favorite suit. It's hot. I love it!

How did everyone's weekends go?

Good to know someone else watched Michigan-ND and wasn't happy with the outcome ... although watching Ohio State get spanked cheered me up a little.

Answer this before you shell out the $12:
Where do you stand on The Big Lebowski?
And No Country for Old Men?

I met Michael Bay in Los Angeles. He was with this ridiculously beautiful Eurasian chick who was probably younger than me. According to Vanity Fair, he went to Wesleyan.

A tad pessimistic for me, but fantastic nonetheless.

Big Lebowski -- not a big fan of the first 20-30 minutes but I loved the rest and the 2nd time I watched it it was even funnier.

No country for olf men was the first movie I ever went to the theater on consecutive nights to see.

OMG. Ditto on that entire post. I cheered every time Mark Sanchez kicked booty. I HATE OSU. With a passion. Them and ND. UGH. Gross, awful, nasty, disgusting, blegh schools. I just wanted to throw up watching the Michigan game...

Oh, and a funny. Dad and I were at the bar watching the UofM-ND game, and we cheered when UofM scored. This MAJOR prep was standing at the bar (collar popped) waiting for a beer.... He turns and looks at my Dad and says "You know, Notre Dame is still winning." Dad ignored him, but I couldn't help myself and I piped up with "Damn... That's what those numbers mean? You are a ****ing genius. Thanks for sharing that with us." He looked properly pissed. My Dad laughed his ass off.

Reason #126 of why I don't want to get married.

Is that video only...cause if so that's pretty expensive.

The two man team follows us around for 10 hours, and takes high def footage. They get the ceremony and the reception. But the cool part is that they put toghether a same day edit for a 5 minute clip that can be shown at the wedding.

Then after the fact, they give us a 90 minute DVD of the whole Shabang.
