Sens vs Habs

Obviously with the Boston and Toronto losses last night we have a real opportunity to open up our lead. We can't assume that the leafs and bruins are going to lose many more games to such poor teams, so we need to turn up the heat.

Emery was recalled because Prusek is hurt with a left knee strain, so Patty must be starting.

That being said, baring Theodore stealing the show, there is no reason why we shouldn't beat up on the habs. 5-2, with goals from Alfredsson, Havlat, Langfeld, Fisher and Redden. Montreal gets one from Ribeiro and Ryder.

If Ribiero and Koivu both go off for fighting (each other), that gives the Sens a 5 on 3 PP which they will score on. I predict a score of 3-0....Lalime needs to have an OUTSTANDING game tonight!!! At least we'll get to hear Pierre McGuire go postal on Lalime if he looks shakey again...Remember the Dallas-Ottawa game. McGuire really ripped into Lalime for his play in that game. Mike Fisher will be McGuire's MONSTER PERFORMER in the first period.

Haha I can't wait to listen to McGuire...I know a lot of people can't stand him and there was a point where I couldn't too..but now he just cracks me up

I think Chara, Redden, Hossa, Havlat, Bondra, Spezza, Alfredsson and Phillips look tired, best bet is to give them the night off

Hopefully we're in for a good game - good luck tonight.

He won't. He rarely does anymore, with the skaters pressing forward to score more.

And that's the first and even last time I ever voice anything close to a prediction.

The game was tons of fun despite the loss. The delighted reaction of the Habs to the win alone made the game worth watching.

Good game tonight for the Habs... The Sens are an awesome team and I can't see anybody beating them in the playoffs 4 outta 7... Unless Lalime???

You guys are hard on your goalie... he got you 1 goal away from the final last year... so are now thinking he can't do that again this year?

Because when lalime has had a good playoff run...he's had a good regular season.

right now if we follow that pattern...we're screwed.

Unfortunately, Lalime did not play well the first few games in the New Jersey series.
Am I blaming him for the series, well no, but I thought Ottawa outplayed NJ and a better performance could have put us in that Final. Patrick has not played nearly as well as he did last season. This obviously concerns us.
