I'm serious. I picked "e-ticket" when I bought them. But I just got my tickets in the mail. They aren't pretty tickets, though. They're plain and white.
So how does this online system work exactly? You don't have to sign up for anything like in Ticketmaster, right?

Which is?! Do I have to make some preparations, like register somewhere? Or do I just go to the Habs web page 12 o'clock Eastern Time? I've never bought tickets to the games before, and probably won't after this for a few years, 'cause it isn't very cheap coming from Europe to watch games.

Just show up.
The only preparation you need is preparation H for your A$$ being chapped from sitting on the edge of your seat fr a couple hours.
Got my tickets today...Jesus Christ they're ugly. First of all they're practically poster-sized, I think I'll need a briefcase just to bring them to the game. Secondly, they're all-white with the Habs centennial logo at the top and "CENTRE BELL" in the middle in blue letters. That's it. All that empty white space and they couldn't throw a player's picture on there or something? I did just spend 800 clams on these after all.
The other thing is, why don't they send these by registered mail? Yeah the envelope is pretty discreet but it still has a Bell Centre logo on the back and the envelope itself is fairly heavy...doesn't take a moron to figure out what's inside them and stuff them in his pocket.
Watch next time you buy off a scalper at the rink... go ask him what he has... if the guy you find doesn't have a section... say whites... tell him... "Oh i really wanted whites" guaranteed he'll bring you to his friend who has whites.... He'll ask all the other scalpers around him to find those whites.
I've been to a lot of Hockey, Football, and Baseball arenas and stadiums in North America, and Montreal is the only place I've ever been where the scalpers are so well-connected and actually dial-up another scalper on the cell phone for inventory. I always wondered if they get a "finders fee" or if 2 or 3 or 4 of them pool there money and split the profits, but I've never seen this (at least to the same degree) anywhere else in America or Canada.
