Guys from both Detroit and Montreal are in my fantasy hockey league ... I'm considering paying them a visit this season and catching a game in either city, though I doubt there's any chance of me getting seats for the Pens-Wings rematch in Detroit.
Me and my buddy have a 25 pasanger bus going to the DC game on March 8th. We have about 15 spots open, PM me if you're interested.
Includes bus ride both ways and a ticket to the game.
Correction; we have a 41 passanger Go Anderson luxury bus. TV's, bathroom, reclinable seats, etc. Very comfortable and we'll all have some extra room because I think we're only taking 35 people. There's about 20-25 spots open as of right now, and even though the season hasn't even started yet, these will fill up fast!
Some of you have already messaged me about the trip, but for those of you who haven't and wanna come, PM me and as soon as I get more details I'll be sure to let you know.
Uh oh...I read the Caps ARE NOT selling individual tickets for this game.
-Not only will it cost 15 bucks more...you must purchase a six game package
-Further...no package offers both games
I do not know if this is true or not.
If so...it really is a lame, bush league gimmick by their owner again.
He is just desperate to manufacter in anyway that DC is this great hockey city...and even if this artifically lowers the invasion...he and the bandwagon cap fans will go on about dc is a new hockey town.
I really hope if this is true...it doesn't change our invasion.
I'd hate to see the Pens turnout much lower.
