Medicals today only .. No on ice events at all.

Nothing mentioned on the Watters show as several players were interviewed and it appears entering the scrimmages tomorrow everyone is healthy and accounted for.

Stralman really improved his english. And apparently he has put on some weight so hopefully he can play better in his own zone. Fastest skater too, I thought that was Meyers?

Ian White has bulked up as well.

The local paper here in Manitoba did a story on him and he is noticeably bigger in the pictures.

Something he needed to do, good on him.

Keep the goodness coming guys, off fishing for the weekend (thank goodness for LeafTV, but no internet access..), I expect nothing less then 14 pages of training camp analysis to catch up on in this thread come Sunday evening.

For a Swede I thought his English was well below average. He stumbled his words a few times which i haven't seen Kaberle do in a while. And from everything i've seen it sounds like learning English as a Czech is a lot harder than doing it as a Swede.

I heard a funny thing this morning where Glenn Healy was going on about how useless medicals are for professional athletes and how if it were up to him he wouldn't waste time with it at all.

Brilliant stuff except for helpful things like finding leukemia through a blood test and setting baselines for concussion testing during the season and discovering heart related problems just to name a few possible benefits from yearly medicals.

I'm so glad this myopic dinosaur hasn't charmed his way into a Leafs front office position with his unjustified self-confidence.

The guy is a total idiot. But he talks fast and loud, and that's good for TV.

Kaberle's Czech accent is just heavy.

That's why it may seem that he has choppy english when in actual fact he doesn't, and has a good command of the English language.

uhh i thought it was worth noting that CUJO is no longer repping the cujo dog on his mask, unfortunately...He's now repping something along the lines of what Raycroft did with the history of the Leafs on his mask... gonna miss the dog though

Cujo still has dog prints on the back of his mask where his kids names are.

Tikhonov is rated higher than Schenn. Its an unorganized ranking system.

The night before Christmas

Well folks, tomorrow is the start of the season, so to say. Its been 91 days since the draft and 168 long, long days since the last hockey game of the season. Leaf Nation and Tank Nation, take a collective sigh of relief, hockey is back!

Go Leafs Go!

I don't think anyone can deny that Filatov has a higher ceiling than Schenn.
