All Things Center Ice

anybody know when one can re-subscribe? when i try now i get the message:

"The Eastern and Western Conference Finals and Stanley Cup Final are NOT available on NHL Center Ice Online. Please tune in to your local NBC affiliate or Versus to watch exciting NHL action. Please check local listings for game times and channels."

i ask because last year i remember being able to watch preseason games, and would like to this year, too...

Don't think it's available yet, but they've never shown preseason games anyways, so you're not missing anything

Ive been trying to call that 1800 number for days and it keeps saying it will reopen tomorrow at 1pm est.

except that never happens.

Also when i tried registering online it said it wasn't available in my region either.

I think something is generally screwy at this point.

Is there some sort of free trial offer they have? I am pretty sure they had that last year as I was able to watch the Rangers @ Islanders game where the online feed was the same feed going to the scoreboard moniter.

the nhl center ice contact line is actually working now....the past few days it was just a voice saying call back tomorrow at 1. Now it asks you if you want to speak to an English or French representative. I have been on hold for like 15 minutes to ask them about tonight.

The number is 1-866-997-0929

EVENTUALLY SOMEONES GOTTA GET THROUGH - CALL AND FIND OUT WHAT THE DEAL IS WITH TONIGHTS GAME

I tried to login today and the payment screen came up. When I tried to pay, I got this message:

Quote:
*** PLEASE NOTE *** There was an error processing your order.

Your order has *not* been created and payment has *not* been processed. Please contact Blue Ocean technical support by calling 1-866-997-0929 to correct the payment failure.
I'm on hold with them right now.

I finally got through. Spoke to some twit who sounded like an intern. He said it would be up on Monday (even though the preseason starts today!).

Morons.

Where's my center ice? Part two....

I started a thread like this last year, and here I am this year with seemingly the same problem. I'm in the Cablevision area and I checked the website to find..."Check back next season for great '08-'09 NHL Center Ice prices."

The season start is right around the corner! Anyone else get it yet from any cable provider (or Cablevision)?

Did you get Center Ice last year? Then you will get again this year.

Many cable systems don't start Center Ice until after baseball season. Time Warner uses the same stations for both.

I have Time Warner, and I called a few weeks back at the start of September and they told me that I would have to wait until the start of the season because the computer wouldn't let them add the service. I called back yesterday and they added it no problem.

Try giving your cable company a call.

That is strange, usually this time of year they have an early bird special that if you order now you get like 20 or 30 bucks off. Hey atleast you will get it when the season starts, I have to wait for Verizon to start Center Ice which I really hope is sometime this year.

I have Direct TV and everthing is all set. It's the same price as last year $159. Give them a few more days I'm sure they will have it.

Thank god! I hadn't seen this thread before, so when I got the "Center Ice Online can not be accessed from within your broadcast region." message, I flipped.

Someone let us know if they're getting pre-season on CI tonight. Comcast finally allowed me to add it this morning, but can't really say if anything will show tonight considering it's sharing the channels with MLB atm.

p.s. $159 this year and I bet they don't add HD broadcasts, what a rip.

Except it's not, as far as I can tell. Trying to go to Center Ice Online just results in the same "not available in your region!" screen, and acts like it's still the playoffs
