So far he has shown me that he is capable of some amazing stuff BUT does not make great decisions, and it fairly prone to turnovers and giveaways. The potential is there, but he has NOT been OK tonight. He has been bad. Colton Orr has been working harder than him.

-We haven't had a young forward with Zherdev's skillset in a longtime. He just oozes talent.

-Sangs needs to make quicker decisions. That split second hesitation is getting him in trouble. A year in Hartford will really help him.

-I like the team speed.

-I like the shoot first philosphy on the PP.

-Orr looks more comfortable on the ice.

-Anyone else find it funny hearing Messier talk about how good Nedved looks, with their history.

It's a preseason game...

The Rangers have a very tough schedule ahead... why would the guys waste all their energy in these games

Everyone else seems to be playing hard, or at least not turning the puck over 95% of the time they touch it. Preseason or not, guys are grinding, guys are hustling, guys want to win. Zherdev should be doing the same. I'm not saying I don't like him or that he is going to have a bad year. All I'm saying is that he isn't playing smart hockey. I know everyone (including myself) wants him to succeed here, but we have to also be able realize when he isn't playing well.

Dubi has looked like a flat out beast in the last two games.

Great tip by Korpikoski. He's a goal-per-game player.

yup heard that. i chuckled. messier complimenting nedveds play.

korpeo with a sweet deflection. 2-0

the zherdev gomez naslund line looks like theyve played together for years. talk about early chemistry

nedved has looked good so far with voros and parenteau. still no idea where he plays and over whom.

Oh stop, he has to know his reputation. He is on a new team with new guys, he should be playing hard. His talent is obvious but I could see how he drove a guy like Hitch just crazy.

but if you are watching the game you know that when a player plays withthe puck on his stick a lot and carries it he will turn it over every now and then.....he looks very very dominant....i havent noticed 4 turnovers

i'm liking nedved, i dont see why he can't center the 3rd line because Dubi obviously doesn't belong on a bottom 6 pair.

To be honest, I think Jagr helped Dubi out A LOT more than everyone thinks. Dubi is an extremely talented young player, and to have a guy like Jagr (who really liked Dubi) is a total advantage. B-Dub is going to have a nice year if he keeps developing his skills the way he has been.
