Tom Callahan has been hired as the PBP voice of the Predators this season. Pete and Terry will replace him for any non-televised game, but otherwise the broadcasts will be split again this season. Callahan will also work in community relations.
Callahan comes to the Predators from Peoria, Ill., where he most recently served as the voice of the Rivermen of the American Hockey League.
Prior to that, Callahan had served as a broadcaster for the Augusta (Ga.) Lynx of the East Coast Hockey League, and of the Elmira (N.Y.) Jackals, who were then a member of the United Hockey League.
Aside from play-by-play, I specialize in new technologies and production geared towards the growing audience on the world wide web. Currently my RIVERCAST podcast is one of three official AHL team podcasts and will launch full-time next season. Also working towards more interactive content and features to generate repeat traffic at the AHL level. Have top-notch production and voice skills as well as a solid grounding in writing technique and understanding as it relates to public relations.
