Yes it would be a substantial expense to move their equipment, cameras, and rent the HD truck to take it out of Montreal. I would be quite surprised but also happy if they showed the game in HD.
What most likely will end up happening is that it will be shown on RDS HD, except it will be an upconverted widescreen feed. Regardless, I'm looking forward to it.

They should dress players that have a shot at making the team in the future... I want to see our future in these games, try new chemistry, confirm chemistry; not to let our career AHLers play. To me, a preseason is to prepare and evaluate our personnel, not Hamilton's.

you dont understand the fact that we play 6 NHL games in 7 nights.
Humans, no matter how in shape they are cant play that level of hockey for 6 nights out of 7. They need rest. Therefore they cant only have Maxwell, Weber, Subban, Maxpac and the few others playing.
the way they are doing it is fine.
Once the 6 games in 7 nights are done, they will trim the roster down BIG time, and you will get to see the guys you want to see.
