Mikkel Bødker vs. Jakub Voráček

Both were selected about the same time in the draft (Bødker - 8th, Voráček 7th). Who will turn out to be a better pro...

Mikkel Bødker:

2007–08 (age 18) Kitchener Rangers - OHL 62 Games 29 Goals 44 Assists 73 Points

Jakub Voráček:

2006–07 (age 18) Halifax Mooseheads - QMJHL 59 Games 23 Goals 63 Assists 86 Points
2007–08 (age 19) Halifax Mooseheads - QMJHL 53 Games 33 Goals 68 Assists 101 Points

Keep in mind the different leagues, and slight age difference in which they put up their respective points.

Aren't they the same age?

Voracek is 4 months older.

So not really different ages at which they put up their points.

Ehh whatever, didn't realize they were that close in ages. I just figured it was about a year since they were in different draft classes.

Still there's the scoring difference between the OHL and the QMJHL.

Yes, it's higher in the OHL.

I think the Q and the O are pretty close in terms of scoring in recent years. The years of the Q being all offense are long gone.

Yep. There was a non-existent .04 difference in GPG in the O's favor, I just wanted to sound radical because the statement was a bit ignorant.

Having both in my pool FTW. I'd give the slight edge to Voracek though.

Technially, given the most commonly used languages in North America, the NHL should start speaking Spanish before using those characters. Careful what you wish for..
