Can someone ask Teddy once and for all, is it Purcull, or PurCell?

Purcell, Moeller, Simmonds...for much cheaper.

I know it's not the plan, but it could be the truth.

This "Ballgame" is great but we still need some "Showtime".

I was refuting your claim that POS doesn't have all that much to offer offensively, not the fact that there's a glut of young guns pushing for a spot.

However, I will assert that Sully has a better shot than any of the aforementioned players and, of course, he's already got 2 years of pro development under his belt.

I like O'Sullivan a lot but he better sign a contract soon. It's not like the Kings don't have a shortage of prospects they can insert on that top line....

I like POS, but lets be honest and say that he is solid on D and good in the shootout.

What else would make POS a 3-4 mil player.

DL needs to be smart about this.
I agree it can only help some of these players to be on a line with Kopitar and Brown. In respect to POS last season other than the fact he started the first half of the season not on their line, the stats don't indicate that his good play was a result of Kopitar and Brown, because 16 out of his 22 goals were not assisted by either of them. He set up 20 of his 31 assists not on a line with Kopitar and Brown.
i believe being on their line and adding to their chemistry has good potential of increasing his numbers but to this point the numbers indicate he did good all on his own.

For Moulson, i absolutely like the effort and development from him. He could be a good replacement on this line for now. Good for him!

Considering that Drewiske, Doughty and Martinez were in the lineup, yeah.

Even more impressive... D has been the problem the last couple of years, not the O. If the Kings can keep shots against under 20 this year - they're going to win a lot of games assuming LaBarbera and Ersberg don't continue to be sieves in net.

and also if they keep shots down to that low number it'll give our goalies a little bit more confidence. that can go a long way too...

He was on the ice for all three goals for and none against, so likely a pretty solid night from him.

Sounds like Drewiski is having a good camp so far. Does anyone think he has a chance to see some games this season?

I wouldn't get too excited about anything that happens in the pre-season. Things have a way of not going so easily once the regular season starts. However, the one positive I can take from this early success is that it could very well give the young D some confidence going into the season.
