Prucha & Korpedo >>>>>> Fritsche & Rissmiller

Fritsche and Rissmiller shouldnt skate for this team again. IMHO, they are worthless. They do nothing, NOTHING to make me even remotely interested in seeing them out there on the ice again. Right now Korpedo is by far and away the best of those 4, and Prucha is definitely second.

Discuss.

Fritsche seemed invisible in a game at home and hasn't impressed one bit since he's been here (and I'm not talking about solely scoring, but doing anything). But what would you expect as a return for Backman? Nothing more.

Prucha gets shots on goal, is SUPERB on the forecheck. what does Fritsche do? Seriously, what does he do? He doesnt forecheck particularly well, he isnt superb defensively....basically hes invisible.

Fritsche he has played three games so far, so you can't exactly rule him out of the lineup yet. He hasn't gotten his chance yet, but when he does, he will start doing what he was known for in Columbus:Scoring clutch goals, throwing the body around, etc.. With Rissmiller waived Fritsche will start playing more. Trust me, he is way too skilled to not be a regular for us. He will play, and he will score. There is a reason why we traded for him.

Dan Fritsche and Lauri Korpikoski > Petr Prucha and Patrick Rissmiller

We seen Fritsche play in 2 games. He never really stoodout, but, he never made mistakes either. I love Prucha's heart almost as much as the next guy, but, he's had more of a shot than any player on this team so far.

He's gotten more of a chance than Prucha this year and he has not only sucked, but has done NOTHING. You don't play for doing nothing when there's 2 other guys waiting to play.

Prucha has had a chance almost all last year.

How many minutes did Fristche play though? But i guess from the few he did he didn't really stood out. Surprised though considering he claimed he wanted to play hard and tough for his friends and family in front of his hometown.

With his constant line changes and being shuffled in and out of the line up. Everyone else got plenty of opportunities to build chemistry with their linemates and play decent minutes, I don't remember Prucha getting that opportunity.

And when given a chance this preseason/season, he outplayed everyone was fighting for the same position.

In Fritshce's defense, we've seen him for what, 7 or 8 games now? We've had 4 years to see what Prucha can do. Prucha has his fair share of games where he is completely invisible (including forechecking and SOG).

I've defended Prucha to no ****ing end on this board... But at some point, when is effort not enough? He is not producing any results, he's gotta go.

But yes, agree that Korpikoski >>> Rissmiller.

Again though... He may be "out playing" everyone, but he is simply not producing, and he didn't produce last year either.

EDIT: Prucha is becoming my new Malik. Not that I dislike him, but I want him to get the **** out, so we can stop talking about him ad nauseum.

And he still did better on the year than what Fritche is now projected to do for the rest of the year at this pace....what is it like 0 points and -12?

You nailed it, IMO.

It's almost time to give up on the guy. I love the guy and respect him a lot. Every time I see him smile it makes me smile. His first season here was something else, something to certainly remember. He's had more than a decent chance to prove himself over here.

Petr Prucha
17 Points for 62 games in '07 - '08
0 Points for 3 games in '08 - '09

Dan Fritsche
22 Points for 69 Games in '07 - '08
0 Points for 3 Games in '08 - '09

You can't even put up an arguement for who you would rather have because they've both been almost identical in the last two seasons. If we keep them both, they will be interchanged throughout the season.

Inferno understands what I mean.

Fritsche has been a superior player than Prucha on defense, but both haven't done anything offensively so I give the edge to Fritsche for being better at playing defensive hockey.

Yup, and Drury will finish with 0 goals and 8A on the season, right? And Voros will score 41 goals? Danny Girardi will have zero goals but 41 assists?

Are you serious with that argument dude?

8 goals for Danny G, which he will exceed.

Except Prucha has been a 30 and 20 goal scorer while Fritche is an annual 10 goal man when played at least 80% of the games.

Bring up the Jagr argument all you want, but Jagr didn't put the puck in the net for him and his big downfall has been missing the same stuff he was burying a few years ago.

Oh and I don't give a **** about Prucha, they can trade him along with Fritche, I just laugh at people who say a perma 4th liner is somehow a better choice to put in the lineup to play somewhere on the top 3 lines than a guy who got more goals in one season that Fritche got all his life.

Rissmiller's in Hartford now right??

ANyway, gotta agree with inferno. Fritsche hasn't done anything.

On a different note, Sjostroms worked his way out of the stracted club, he's earned a spot, at least until he works himself out.
