So you're saying he has too much passion? I don't understand how that's a bad thing at all. It's good that he gets excited to score goals, he was just as excited to score number 1 last year as he was to score the 60th...

Ovechkin all the way.

Maybe not in the NHL but I remember many times when he scored when Russian and then the whole Russian line when on to taunt the other team.

On a side note, look at Sakic when he scores you never see much but he's probably one of the most passionate guys in the game

Yeah, I'd agree that's a little far and un-necessary. I agree that Sakic is incredibly passionate, they just show it differently then each other. AO just has a different way of showing it.

Tough...Ovechkin is awesome for his uptempo style of play, heavy hitting and deadly shooting, but Crosby consistently makes jaw-dropping plays.

both are almost equally amazing. But im more like an NHL scout, type of hockey fan. I pay more attention to the players skill and how the team executes play. I like to pick out the flaws of players. Im not your normal hockey.

I put Crosby, because his play making ability is just amazing. Its stupid I try immitate my hockey game after him too.

Obviously both are amazing to watch offensively but Ovechkin's physical play puts him on top.

Ovechkin, but Crosby is a better, more talented overall player.

Ovechkin just brings a certain flare to his game that no one else does.

I have trouble deciding. Ovechkin has that entertainment value with his hits, his enthusiasm, his great shot... but Crosby, as someone who has played all of his life, is so entertaining to watch because he sees the game incredibly well.

I voted Crosby, but for me it's probably a tie. On any given night I might feel more inclined to watch one over the other, but I probably do watch Crosby a bit more than Ovechkin because of that extra "something" he seems to have.

Edmonton fan here voting for Ovechkin. There's always the chance when watching him that he's going to do something incredible whereas I kind of find Crosby boring. Incredible player but nothing really jumps out at me and grabs my attention about his game.

Crosby's unbelievable coordination and spatial awareness allows him to create plays on a nightly basis that no other player could even think of.

Ovechkin is exciting, but in a different way. He just overpowers people and launches cannons with his shot. There's also the hitting aspect of his game. He's like a freight train the whole time he's on the ice.

The excitement of Ovechkin comes from mostly his physical talents, whereas Crosby's is more of a combination of his mental and physical talents. To me, Crosby is a much more interesting player to watch.

Crosby, because when I'm watching him, he's winning me games.

But OV is the flashier, more exciting player. Not better though.

1. Crosby whines and talks too much.
2. Great goals look much better than great passes.
3. Ovechkin's father is half tank.
