Every time AO steps on the ice for a shift you get excited, even if he does nothing on that shift. Its been a long time since a player has done that for me (Probably Bure)

Washington for me. Watching Ovie play is just ridiculous.

Me too. I didn't know why Toronto wasn't on the list.

Pittsburgh
Washington
Detroit
Calgary

A bit unfair to Calgary, as I don't really find their style of play as exciting as the other three teams' (though I realize that some do).

Boy do I love watching Detroit. So much play making, no dump and chase, the creativity and chemistry that team has is amazing to watch.

Toronto.
Considering that you said funniest, up 2 goals with about 2-10 minutes to play and you lose the game is pretty funny to me.

I may be a homer but, if preseason is anything to go by, Chicago is going to be insanely fun to watch this season. Brian Campbell and Pat Kane are walking highlight reels.

Yes, they could be much more fun if they got some real all stars instead of a bunch of system players that are only good because of said system.

Capitals for sure. Thrill-a-minute ride during the regular season.

I mean, I love the Wings too, just I know they're going to win a good chunk in the regular season, and wake me up when the conference finals start.

Caps are hyperactivity personified.

The Wings and the Flames put me to sleep. Crosby and Ovechkin are fun to watch. Penguins win because they have Malkin as well.

I voted Washington, not just because of Ovechkin...also Backstrom, Mike Green, Semin...etc.

I can see how Calgary would appeal to some people. They're not a team I rush to watch on center ice but I always get excited for Calgary/Minnesota games.

Surprised that Montreal wasn't on the list originally. They've got a bunch of young, skilled, fast guys - plus you have the hit machine, Komisarek.

Also, what about Buffalo? I know you guys get sick of hearing, "HE SCOOOOOOOOOOOORRRRRRRRRRRRRARRRRRRRRRRRRSSSSSSSSSS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!" but come on now.

Like others here I (at first) misread the title "funnest" for funniest!!!! (& I wondered...which team is the funniest?!!!!!).

Anyways...

Detroit (huge fan of their passing game and the fact that they - most of 'em - win by being gentlemen, not thugs...I have a lot of respect for their players & how they won the CUP in a clean way)
Pittsburgh (whether you like Crosby and/or Malkin, you can't deny their entertainment value).
Chicago (huge fan of Toews, will watch Chicago just to see more Toews! then again I'll watch New Jersey to see more of Zach Parise!!)
Montreal (homer vote but I really do like the players/team...fast, skilled, entertaining, clean/classy, no more arrogant jerks like Mike Ribeiro on the Habs, instead Mtl has good young guys like Kosts bros, Pleks, Gorges, Price...I couldn't be more relieved that the Ribeiro "Ribs"/Theodore/Dagenais/Rejean Houle as GM, Mario Tremblay as coach DAYS ARE OVER!!)
Washington (for Ovechkin, Backstrom, Semin, Green, but definitely not for OVERPAID Theo).
Edmonton (they are usually fast and entertaining)
Buffalo (when they had Drury and McKee)
Philly (just 'cause they have lots of depth & it makes it interesting to see all those young, good players they have, but...I don't respect how dirty they can be at times which, imo, they don't need to do...they're good without having to resort to cheap, dirty Bobby Clarke antics...I'm also not a fan of Bobby Clarke )

Calgary caters to a different group. While the other teams are all offensively oriented teams, Calgary is a big-hitting, smash-mouth kind of team. If you'd rather watch fights and brawls, then Calgary would be your choice.

My favorite team is CGY, so I will go with a different one - I'd choose Pittsburgh just because of Crosby.

Why the hell are the Wings and Flames on this list? I found them both to be pretty boring to watch last season.

Philadelphia, Montreal, Edmonton and Chicago should be on the list.

Detroit because it's my favorite team. But Ovechkin has made Washington my 2nd favorite team.

Weirdest list ever.

The top 3 most exciting teams are not even on the list.

Carolina
Edmonton
Habs
