McElhinney or Keetley? (backup goalie)

So who's gonna be the backup goalie. I'd personally say Keetley, but I think it's gonna be close.

I think the job is McElhinney's. He has the one way contract and has played well enough in the preseason to get the job. I am a huge fan of Keetley's and I think he'll be better served starting down in Quad Cities for atleast another year.

McElhinney because Keetley has more potential and is the best out of our 3 goalie prospects, so i'd rather have him develop more in QC. McElhinney did decent last year when he was our backup anyways (well except for the one game he started, but even then iirc the whole team sucked that game, so it's not really his fault).

It's McElHinney simply due to his contract, and he has played well. I love Keets though and he has alot of upside.

I think McE leaves at the end of the year. He just wont get enough ice time behind kipper and he only has a 1 year contract. Keets just seems like a better goalie. also we have to see if Irving will blossom.

Looked fantastic tonight. I'm very confident in him being the flames backup goalie this season.

The only way Keetley's taking it is if McElhinney screws up royally during the season.

Or get hurt.

I went to QC training camp yesterday and I was pretty impressed with Irving. I would be okay if Keets got the call up with lalande and Irving back stopping the qc.
