Cant really go wrong with any of those pics I think, perhaps Thornton is a bit behind.

Technically he's ahead of Crosby, statistically that is.

Back to back 90pt seasons is a pretty spectactular feat.

Crosby and Ovechkin aren't even in their primes and are easily comparable to the others. They'll crush them once they reach their full potential.

1a. Sergei Fedorov - Freak player. Once in a life time player. The greatest all around player since Bobby Orr

1b. Peter Forsberg - I (like all true hockey fans) wish he had a healthier career. A true game break like Jagr & Mario in their primes. Mario and Jagr were healthy though.

2a. Alexander Ovechkin - Might be at the top of this list someday. Not there yet.

2b. Sidney Crosby - See Ovechkin. I have him just a notch behind AO right now.

3. Joe Sakic - An all-time great. This is no slight against Joe, I just think the world of the other 4 players.

4. Joe Thornton - Always been a Joe fan (even after the trade) but to put him in the same class as these players is a little insulting.

the gap btw foppa and other players in WHATEVER league he played was ridiculous. I honestly don't think I watched ONE single game where a healthy peter forsberg wasn't a noticeable factor. Never coasted always dominating... dammit I miss foppa!

Peter Forsberg gets my vote.

He was one of those rare players, where everyone on the opposing team knew he was on the ice, put there best full line against him,(best D and Forwards) and then he would just leave everybody wondering how the F he just did what he did. Whether it was sniping a ridiculous shot past your stonewall goalie, powering through you beast of a #1 d, or dangling your best defensive forward, he could do it all in one shift. Then he'd come back out and do it again every shift until the final horn blew.

IMO Forsberg was one of the most dominant forwards of all time when fully healthy.

Anyone else wonder why Forsberg wins this in a walk? I gave Crosby some love, not a lot of guys win the Hart, Ross, and then get injured in the next year only to tie for the league lead in playoff points.
