Stralman, Schenn, Frogren, Colaiocovo(really looking good) are 4 great looking young defencemen. The future is bright.

Kulemin is looking better every game. More aggressive on the forecheck tonight, and creating chances.

Yeah, Pogge is stating he has a future, for sure. Impressive period by him.

Hipchecks are always special! Nice to see one, seems like a long time ago. Frögren looks more comfortable out there than last game.

Some solid individual performances in the first.Special teams need some adjustments but the PP despite not generating much in terms of premium chances did maintain control in the o-zone quite well.
These guys just need some time to build some chemistry and adjust to Wilson's style. It'll take awhile but theres already signs of progress.

pogge is developing perfectly right now.

ideally he plays 65+ games for the marlies this year. we trade toskala at the deadline or in the summer for a high return. kaberle is dealt for an even higher return.

then next year we have pogge, stralman, frogren, colaiacovo, tlusty, kulemin + the talent we can grab for toskala and kaberle...

buuut...maybe im getting a little ahead of myself

Guys if Poggie is this good, just think how good he will be in a year from now as Toskala's backup.

I won't get all hyped up about him just yet, I need to see more games from him.

No need to rush him up here at all.

I think Toskala has to go this year. He's still got one year @ 4M left making him extremely valuable at the deadline. Just let Cujo play out the regular season.

Pogge was amazing last preseason too. I think him taking over as a starter next year would be perfect.

Too bad we dont have the full lineup tonight, would be nice to see Mayers in. I like the fact that Frogren stepped in to stop Kaletta.

Pogge has looked solid, especially considering the Leafs have been crap on the offensive zone and are giving up a lot of chances.

Not on my site. That is what bothered me more than anything about the free sites, not the poor quality.

i disagree with this plan to a certain extent. if pogge has a stellar season w/ the marlies this year, id trade toskala at the deadline while he's got a year left and an affordable contract. his return will be high.

then we bring up pogge to finish out the season w/ cujo and pogge starts the 09/10 season as a leaf.

same kinda deal as mon with price last year.
