Make way for the Citi Center!!!

http://money.aol.com/news/articles/_...664x1200650301

Can't we just call it the "Some Damn Bank" Center.

At least its not named after Dunkin Donuts.

Not really their fault. The economy's been diving. Oh well. Citigroup Center or Citi Center? Which sounds better?

lets just call it "the center" so that when Citi bank gets bought out my PNC we wont have to change the name again.

We're going to have the Citi bank center and Citizens bank park, Mapquest is confused already.

could of very well been there fault if they took part in all the banks giving out the bad mortgage loans with little or no money down to people who couldnt afford it.
This whole situation with these failing banks has pissed me off to no end.

The economy has me pissed off to no end.

I am spending all this money to get a college education and I have what to look forward to?

I hope all these *******s with their $120 million dollar buy outs and severance packages get hit by a bus since they made their money destroying the American Economy.

The mortgage companies have also failed by giving money to people who should never have been given money in the first place.

Big companies on the Dow-Jones Industrial have been corrupt for years and this whole situation is affecting everyone. Truly despicable.

I hate having to put forth all this money, time and energy to hear about economic failure, a 9.43 trillion dollar deficit against CHINA (why do you want to owe China that much money anyway???) and epic fail on the part of big oil and other money hungry CEO's hell bent on ruining the world.

Sry for the rant.

I was due for one soon anyway.

no worries. I agree with you 100 percent.
It really is un-****ing- believable. Did we get to reep the benefits when these big banks were making money and doing well? NO.
Now that they are in trouble, we the american tax payer has to help bail em out. the government is pissing on middle class and lower America once again to help out the rich.
All these banks are failing and yet the CEO's of these mega banks get a 8 figure golden parachute on the way out. Who pays for that? OH YEAH WE DO!
So not only have I lost almost 30 percent of my 401k this year, now I have to help out the people who helped **** my 401k.
I feel so bad for the youth of this country. from the kids who post on here on down. We have it bad now, but I am frightened for the state of this country by the time I am old enough to retire.
You dont have to appologize for ranting. I am pissed off to no end too.

You should move to Austria. With the next semester (starts in February), University education in Austria will be free again. Brought to you by socialism, **** yeah.

The funniest thing is that we did need a bailout because Congress was finally taking action as far as regulating Wall Street which is something they've refused to do for the last decade and more.

But Republicans reject it because of "socialism" and the fact that we'd be "stifling the free market."

It's the free market that got us into this situation in the first place and it's about time the government started regulating it.

I have a college education and I'm very competent in French, so I am borderline considering moving out of the country semi-permanently. I've been tired of US politics for quite a while and this latest one just takes the cake. Candidates who were elected because they hate abortion are the ones deciding we shouldn't regulate the economy and watch it collapse instead.

As bad as Europe will get, at least they don't have complete and utter morons running the system.

But at least we're still fighting abortion! Right? Right?

I'm just so frustrated right now, I feel like Congress has been taking a dump on my American dream for the last 10 years, but this one just takes the cake.

Stocks have actually rebounded by 100 in the past 20 minutes.

We are now down 600 on the day instead of 700.
