Meh, it's in the past, things could of happened, perhaps should of happened, but its so long in the past now I'm not really pissed about it.

I liked Bryz, I'm glad he found a place to be the number 1

Yeah, it's one of those head scratchers, but there's not much we can do about it now.

When I think back to how easily we got Giguere from Calgary, then maybe it wasn't so bad giving up Bryz for nothing. Ducks have Hiller now, and I don't think he is any worse or better than Bryz. Both are NHL starting goalies who play butterfly style with good post to post lateral push and let in occasional soft goals. Burke made a choice, he picked Hiller. Ducks have to live with it now.

The only thing i regret is not getting more hilarious Bryz interviews.

Last time I checked he was a stand up style goalie. But anyways I just see things differently, even the trade for Giguere we gave up something to get em here in Anaheim. Just don't see the logic in waiving a starting goaltender that we all knew would be a star. It's almost as bad as the Joe Thornton trade

Thing is we wouldn't of been able to fit Bryz and Hiller under the salary cap, and would of lost one regardless

I'd take Bryz over Hiller in a heart beat. If we had him, our D-holes wouldn't be so massive, and both goalies would have a lot more rest then they do on the Ducks/PHX. oh wellll Burke sucks he's great at fixing a team up like the Ducks, then leave them screwed for the future once he's gone on to bigger and better things. guy is a total ******.

I imagine we'd be 4+ games in the black if we had a hiller/bryz tandem...

but could we have really made that duo last up until, now? would we have won the cup? what would our team look like if we had kept him... tooo many ifs. but a lot more wtfs?

More like we wouldn't have enough space in our salary cap to keep them both [considering they both make north of 4m I believe] and then be able to re-sign Perry/Ryan/Getzlaf

Yes, Bryz was moved after we won the cup.

Maybe you guys don't miss him but Brown has been a great for the Leafs.Tonight he blocked a couple shots one resulting in some hand injury and he has wheels as well.

Just your thoughts on him overall

He played extremely well for Anaheim in 08/09, but he really seemed to take a step back the following season and was a frequent healthy scratch.

The addition of Chipchura made him expendable IMO.

At the time, the Ducks had already locked up Giguere in a long term contract. It wasn't a matter of Bryz vs Hiller but rather Giguere vs. Bryz. Hiller was going to be the backup either way due to his potential and salary.

I'd rather have him on the 4th line than Voros.

It seems I miss him more now that he is gone than when he was here on the bench if that makes sense.

I like his energy and scrappyness.

Who would've guessed it! Seemed like everyone except Ducks fans loved this trade for the Islanders.

Good to see he's getting a chance at Boston

I'm pretty sure I read a article on ESPN NHL a month or something ago, and saying he's really impressed people within the Boston organisation.

And Jonathan Hedstrom has signed with Asploven (Swedish Tier 3). Things has really gone downhill for him, I hope he turn things around.

This is going to be awesome. Wiz will play over his head for the first couple of months (like always) causing the Habs fans echo chamber to talk him up to be the greatest thing since poutine, then Wiz will revert to his usual play (again, like always) and the media/fans will turn on him so hard. Can't wait, I got my popcorn ready .

Poor Habs, you wouldn't think you could trade to make the defence worse

Wonder if Wiz wishes he was back in Anaheim

Also I love how the Habs are ****ing themselves silly over getting Wiz. He's a terrible D for the price he's at. Nothing more then a borderline 2nd pairing dman
