the wrap on van ryn here was he was fast, had great potential and had a good shot. we got him from the blues years ago when pronger was there and mike was touted as the real thing and a potential super star. well imo that aint going to happen!!!
he's a nice guy, good teammate, he's been shaky in his end and seemed to avoid the physical play. he was making mistakes and coughing up the puck and did not stand out at all!!!! we sort of attributed this to his wrist injuries and hoped he would get back to his potential this year. so far it doesn't seem like it based on your reviews. he's a nice guy, hope he can turn his career around. there where a bunch of us here who wanted him gone. i don't think he ever got close to his hype here even during his good seasons. hope he does well for you guys, but not against us.
