OT - New to LA, need a hockey bar

Hey guys, I just moved to Los Angeles from Pittsburgh last month. I'm a lifelong Penguins fan but a general hockey fan just the same. I'm looking for a nice place that plays hockey often where I can relax and have a beer. Are there any hockey bars in LA?

What part of "Los Angeles" do you live in? (Very pertinent)

Even S&S may not be "exciting", but you might find a Penguin fan or 2.

Shark's Cove in Hermosa Beach is a Steeler bar. Maybe they show the Pens as well.

Pittsburgh bars in LA? Sounds like heaven. I'm living in the Los Feliz area currently.

I was willing to settle for just hockey in general, but catching Pens games would be great.

welcome to LA - there are as many people here who root for teams from other cities as there are rooting for LA teams

EDIT: just to be clear, I don't know for a fact that Shark's Cove shows Pens games, it's just a guess based on their Steeler afilliation. Might want to call them first.

In Burbank Gordon and Birsch has a bunch of sets and tuners and are not adverse to putting up a game. Scoot up the 5 to the Holiday Inn Towers it's up 2 blocks from the off-ramp. Not far from you. Fun place one way or another. Good food. The area has a nice feel.

There's Big Wang's in Hollywood. Just do yourself a favor and don't bump into anybody.

If you're in Los Feliz, hockey fan or no, I suggest you check out the Ye Rustic Inn on Hillhurst. They owner is clearly a bit of a hockey fan, and if there's a Pens game on Natl TV they'd probably turn it on for you unless it was playing against the Dodgers/Monday night football. Also, they have kick ass hot wings.

Matt
