I hate people.

When I took my mom to the Flyers game on Nov. 8th, we both entered to win $50,000 in some raffle, and the lady was standing next to an autographed Biron jersey. So I thought, wow this must be legit since it's in the Wachovia Center and a Flyers jersey is a prize.

Today they called my mom up, and said she won ..... a cruise.

And they call themselves Sundance Vacations. A quick google search showed me how they operate, and I'm surprised they were allowed into the Wachovia Center to hand out their crap.

Come on, anyone else see these people?????

How are they allowed into the Wachovia Center? Now I fear they won't stop calling. I hate this BS.

Ive been dumb enough to enter one of those drawings. Usually when im out smoking at a game and some hot chick makes me do it. But they dont stop calling until you tell them not too. Its very annoying.

Trust me, I've won about 5 cruises already. It's legit in the fact that they will give you a cruise, but you have to take some ******** classes on time shares and all that good stuff. Whenever I see them now, I'm just like no, I don't want another ****ing cruise, thank you. And that normally just shuts them up.

Yeah, sub-par cruise so I can be forced into a room and feel like I'm about to be ***** and killed unless I buy a timeshare.

Yeah, how about NO.

I'd rather cause physical harm to myself then give my credit card number to those people.

EDIT: My question is, why does the Flyers organization let them set-up shop??? The Flyers should say, "Get the eff out."

I discovered Tucker a few years ago.

I must say, his venture into the "back door" will forever be one of the funniest things I have ever read in my life.

so my keeper league has two GMs gone MIA. we're looking to replace them. it's a small league, only ten teams.

the teams open are the leafs and blues (you can change team names if you want). the talent's not awful on either, which was the intent of only having ten teams. PM if you're interested. I've got class in a little bit but I'll be around all night from about 5 on.

Yeah, there are some good reads on that site.

I've had more than a few chuckles from there.

He wrote about some guy on my campus before as being one of the biggest ****** bags he's ever met. It was quite hysterical.

Saw Upshal(with a pretty hot blonde) and Metro at the ACDC concert last night. I had floor seats and they were in the 7th row or so. ironic role reversal. It was fun watching scotty rocking. I'm definitely getting my zubrus changed to an Upshal now.

Great show btw. The stage was on about the goal line back and i was on the blue line, a point shot away.

Tucker is awesome. He wrote a book using the stories from his website; I think it's called "I hope they serve beer in Hell."

I found him by accident when I was reading some stuff from The Best Page in the Universe website by Maddox. Both guys are hilarious.

Edit: On Tucker's website, there's a picture of him with Ed Jovanovski. Tucker attended Jovo's wedding while Jovo was a member of the Panthers.

Tucker reminds me of one of my cousins.

I think that makes all his stories that much better.

That and they are amazing anyway.

If you read his book tour stories . . . the third part talks about him going to Pitt. He talks about TheDouche and he is 1000000% correct in his assesment of that guy.

I think it's hard not to like it when someone you hate gets made fun of for being a d-bag online by someone who is known as being one of the biggest d-bags in the world.

Worth posting here...Richards hit on Higgins for anyone who missed it in the Flyers-Canadiens GDT. I think we need a Great Flyers Hits YouTube thread. I know we have a Flyers YouTube thread, but it'd be nice to devote one to just fantastic Wachovia Great Check of the Game worthy greatness. Then again, the Wachovia Great Check of the Game is often a poor choice for great check of the game...they don't always do a very good job selecting that. Ah ****, you know what I mean though.
