No problems here nuck bunny.

I don't think Flyers fans even care about the Canucks (sorry)

Plus, your not a leafs fan. That's a plus.

Just wait until Valhoun gets back.

Canucks fans are welcome, as long as they're not talking about throwing offer sheets or making ridiculous trades for Jeff Carter.

If you hate snow, avoid southern New York state.

Winter is something I'll never miss from South Eastern Ontario.

3 points for Steve Eminger tonight; scored the tying goal with under three minutes to play, as well.

Eminger with a goal and 2 assists. 3rd star of the game. http://sports.yahoo.com/nhl/recap?gid=2008111820

edit: Nevermind, CanadianFlyer already mentioned it.

Same reason I love it, just with work and it getting dark at 5PM, the only time I can appreciate it is my walk to the car in the morning.

I want snow. According to the winter weather forecast channel 6 did last night though, they said snow fall will be above average this year, so that's a plus. Can't wait!

I was coming from the Randolph area where the hotel was, and I was supposed to take exit 20, which I did, but they didn't warn that the exit splits into two, and I of course was in the wrong lane. So then I spent just about the next 45 min going back and forth along the same stretch of 93/90 (which apparently has exits every 10 miles), and everytime I would get back onto 93 I would be one exit off. At one point I did get to take a scenic tour of the airport, and then a very scenic tour of an extremely ghetto section, complete with witnessing an SUV landing on top of a parked car. Eventually, I made it into the city and asked a cab who was nice enough to just let me follow him to where I was going, which judgung by the roads he took, I would have never gotten there.
Hahahaha...you experienced first hand the joy of the Big Dig. Actually, that's kinda' weird. Exit 20 is before you really get into the tunnels, but once you do, yeah, you're screwed unless you know the area and can get yourself turned around properly. Driving in Boston is a pretty harrowing experience even for those of us who've done it before, but sounds like you had an experience even worse than most people. Oh, and the Mass Pike definitely lacks exits. It gets worse as you go west, if you can believe that...past 84, it seems like they're every 20-30 miles. 93 has some more as you head north, but not many, and it's pretty easy to wind up heading towards the airport or Revere if you get yourself turned around. As for the ghetto section, well, that could've been any of a number of places: Dorchester on the near side of the harbor, over by the airport some sections of East Boston and Chelsea are not so nice as well.

Glad you found a cabbie to help you out though. One suggestion I can make: next time you're up this way, and staying outside the city, take the T in. It'll be cheaper than parking in the city, you don't have to do the driving, and the system itself is pretty simple (4 lines, color coded, and usually stops are within a few blocks at the most of wherever you're trying to get). The only downside is that coming from the South, you'll have to take the Red line in, and then switch downtown to get to anyplace in Back Bay/JP or wherever, but it saves your sanity. Check out http://mbta.com/.

Scranton was the same for me. The snow was cool to look at since I walked to class and stuff, however, when I'm driving, **** snow.

I got an SUV based solely on driving in the snow. Of course I got it last November, and I think its snowed bad like once or twice since then. But I used to have a little Ford Focus and that thing was hell on wheels in snow. I once did a 180 on Rt. 73 trying to go to a doctors appt, and that was not so fun. Luckily the tractor trailer that was in back of me was a mile away when it happened . Other than that, I'm still like a little kid when it comes to snow. I'm pretty much the only 23 year old you'll see at the top the hill sledding down with the little kids, while everyone else my age is at the bottom. And I can't wait til my dog really gets a chance to see the snow this year. He's still a puppy and he loved it last year, but it didn't last long. I loved chucking snow balls at him, cause he just tries to eat them.

Did you see the flurries in Camden yesterday? I was stunned. They didn't amount to anything, but I took them as a sign of better things to come.

ugh, forget all you snow lovers. ****'s nice to look at for the first little bit but then it just gets in the way. i hate it.

my one condition is a white christmas. i'll cave and not hate it then. but that hasn't really happened in years. more often than not it's effin rain, and then slush, so even more ugh.

i'll play in it, but i'm very little-kid-who-is-reluctant-to-eat-veggies-face towards it.
