If true the lines would be for Van:

Sedin-Sedin-Bernier
Raymond-Savard-Demitra
Burrows-Kesler-Hansen
Hordichuk-Johnson-Pyatt

Ohlund-Salo
Krajicek-Mitchell
Baumgartner-Edler

Luongo
Sanford

Not bad at all

you dont win in the NHL by trading players like Kevin Bieksa for players like Marc Savard.

i really dont care how many points he gets, he is not part of a winning formula.

I don't see how he isn't part of the winning formula. I'd trade Bieksa for Savard easily.

I would take Savard over Bieksa in a heart beat. Not everyday you see a 90 point player available.

Its the same crap they said about him last year, only they can't say he's never made the playoffs now.

This isn't happening though.

Bruins general manager Peter Chiarelli rejoined the team and immediately denied a report that top center Savard could be dealt.

“We’re not looking to trade Marc Savard,” said Chiarelli, who didn’t rule out other deals. “There’s a chance. I’m looking to improve the team. I’ve had a couple of discussions, more than a couple.”

Eklund is right less than 10% of the time with E4's, correct?

It would be even worse IMO. And I'm a Canucks fan.

Rule is just subtract the E and add % to get percentage chance of happening in that many years - for this one, there is a 4% chance it will happen within 4 years

consistent 90 point players would be a part of anyone's winning formula, i'd say.

especially if its just for kevin bieksa

Riiiiiite?

This rumor is a day old anyway. If people had bothered going thru the other threads they would have known that already.

Oh well.... *shrugs*

Think of it as Vancouver's revenge for the Neely deal

this isnt fantasy hockey folks ... i dont care if he gets 90 points a season, he isnt a core player. if iam building a team, Bieksa would be a core guy.

i am entitled to my opinion, you guys will catch up eventually.

edit: to further my point, you win cups with guys like Draper, McCarty and Derian Hatcher. You dont win with guys like Markus Naslund, Miro Satan and Marc Savard. I dont care how many points they get, they are losers.

How is Bieksa a core guy? He has had one good season in his NHL career. Perhaps if he has three or four good years in a row he would be considered a definite core guy for any team but at the moment he isn't.
