We'll take a 2nd rounder.

BTW, who's Kukkonen? It seems we recently ditched a player who rhymed with that name.......

Kukkonen is a solid bottom-pairing stay-at-home guy with good skating and a decent first pass. Doesn't do much offensively, even though he has alright hands, but blocks shots for a living.

I hope TP has bounce a back year, he might get used properly for once now that Crow has been run out of town.

Bounce back .. ?

Preissing wasa 3rd pairing dman who got 2nd unit PP time with the Sharks so his numbers look good
Preissing was a 3rd pairing dman who got 2nd unit PP time with the Sens so his numbers look good
Preissing was a 3rd pairing dman last yr who got 2rd prinf PP time last yr with Kings ..

Preissing is a 3rd pring dman who got a great ( for him) 4 yr contract for $11mil.

he was behind Vis , Blake, JJ and Stuart in TOI until the trade deadline , and,
when Stuart was traded Harrold took Stuart's ES TOI /G and Preissing got some of Stuart's PP time.

OK. This looks like Lilja before the Kings ditched him (for reasons unkown). We need some serious shot-blockers.

I'd say it's your choice:

1) A 2nd round pick

or

2) Kukkonen & a 5th

I think he'd be good in Montreal, they need a puck moving defenseman to replace Streit.

Dandenault and a 3rd?

Would Robbie Earl, Justin Pogge, Stralman and a 2nd round pick do it?

Preissing makes too much for the Flyers to take him on.
