So can someone let me know how Dravecky has looked this season? Looking at stats he seems to be having a great year and has settled into a checking role fantastically. Do the people who watch Manchester games regularly think he has a chance at a late season call up this year, or ever? With Clune missing most of the season I'm looking for someone else to be my mancrush for the rest of the year and I'm thinking Dravecky might be that guy.

lota good information in this thread. I should visit more often, thanks Manchester guys. As always, you guys are our eyes and ears to the Kings farm.

Looking at the list of kings prospect, you guys are right. Every significant prospect, with the exception of Teubert, Hickey, and Voinov has been in some shape or form a part of the Kings. It's amazing how much talent the Kings were drawing from, never realized we had already depleted it. With the return of some of our injured players though, makes me wonder if players like Lewis and Purcell are going to head back to Manchester.

I really am surprised at how depleted we look. This mighth be the beginning of the decline of our farm (consequence of good development). I don't see how the next drafts are going to refill our farm.

DL's specialty is drafting therefore, our farm system has nothing to worry about. His picks make our team sooner than people anticipate (Moller/Simmonds), which is a good thing. Lets also not forget the fact that our team is already filled with young talented players.

Hickey, Teubert, Cameron and King could help out in a few months. The D should be an upgrade at least.

From his stats it looks like Bernier has put together a string of good starts. How has he looked?

The Monarchs have released defenseman Eric Werner from his AHL Standard Players Contract...

This is somewhat interesting move in that it brings the Monarchs down to 6 defensemen on their roster and that includes Joe Piskula who's currently on their injury report???

Strange that they would drop that low indeed especially when you consider that Boyle is on his way to LA, Werner was on an AHL contract (doesn't count toward 50-contract limit) and there is no limit to the number of players that can be carried on an AHL roster...

Crosty has played on defense in the past, BUT, that's definitely not a good situation...

I don't think Johnson's started contact drills in practice yet, so I'd think a conditioning assignment would be premature.

Unless Hextall's got something up his sleeve in regards to adding a a veteran dman or two, it still makes no sense.

Tonight they have on the blue-line;
Campbell
Bagnall
Kidd
Martinez
Piskula
Drewiske

Seems to be pretty much what I thought could be the D this season. Not that it'd be good, but just that'd it be.

So Piskula is healthy and Voinov will be back soon. Guess no trade.

Since Quick came up from Manchester Bernier has been on fire. 4-0 since Christmas, a .930 SV% and a 1.75 GAA.

Great to hear. Really, Ersberg going down was the best thing that could have happened to this time and our prospects. We now have room for Bernier to take the reins in Manchester and show what he can do. He's a guy who is used to playing every game. He'll be able to get in a groove and run with it. Quick has a chance to show that he is good enough to be in the NHL as a starter or backup. I'm excited to watch both Quick and Bernier develop into their respective roles. For the first time since watching the Kings (i've watched them since 1990), I'm excited about our future in goal.

Too bad the Kings offense is worse than the Monarchs. Quick only wins when he shuts out the other team.

Zatkoff has only played in one game since being assigned to Manchester. If they're going to go with Bernier every night, might just as well get Zatkoff back to the ECHL and playing on a regular basis...
