There is Mullen again.... Ponikarovsky completely fans on the shot... and Mullen is saying that Poni needs to get the puck up and over the goalie . Osgood was nowhere near that puck... all he had to do was tap it in, no need to get it up.

If Cliff can get a pick for Poni it's time to do it.

Curtis has not looked good at all, but on the bright side, his GAA went down after this game.

Adirondack Red Wings 4 - Toronto Maple Leafs 3

Our stacked Leafs team gave those AHLers all they could handle tonight on home ice.

But Hagman and Grabovski and Schenn continue to impress as new guys.

Hagman looks like an excellent signing and is far more skilled then he is given credit for .. Those 27 goals last year might not have been fluke but hard work and creativity..

Grabovski's willingness to get involved deep in his own zone is going to earn him points with RW.

Luke made many solid defensive plays tonight again despite it not being the strongest Wings roster.

The only reason Poni is being bludgeoned by this board is because he is being played as a 1st line Winger, when he has quality 3rd line skill, with a 3rd line contract. I'm not against seeing him moved, but he threw a good hit today, and it seems like Wilson has him on his way back to utilizing his strengths better, and I only expect him to improve as the season progresses.

I didn't think Schenn played a great defensive game today because he was a -2 but I'm not putting the kid down but he should be sent down. He could hurt us in an effort for top 5.

I watched more then enough Stars games last year but never noticed Hagman's stick handling ability. He seemed more of a "in the right place at the right time" kind of scorer.

Antropov was also a minus. He played a pretty good defensive game.

Its no different than when Hoglund was crucified for not being a legit 1st line winger. Its like its their fault they're thrown into a role they can't handle.

Just got home.

So was Schenn not so good tonight with a -2?
