You guys are advertising as superheros. Way to go to try to make a boring job looks interesting.

No comments. I'm pretty sure it's true.

For Big D

In most cases a users posts would still be visible after they are given a ban... just their name gets a little * beside it.

However there was a poutiner who tried re-registering a number of times after his ban.... The admins put him on what is known as "global ignore" this means his posts are only visible to himself and the moderators. Because its such a Pain in the butt to keep throwing him out, they make it seem to him like he is a member and noone ever replies to his posts.

However once put on global ignore, all his old posts disappear too....

Eventually that poster will catch on that his attempts to go around his ban are being thwarted.

Wow. You guys are officially my heroes.

That is some cruel and unusual punishment.. its something out of a good horror movie.

Imagine walking amongst the living, and thinking they can see you.. but just being continuously ignored everywhere you go.

Chilling.

You couldn't have said it better. Morgues are actually more enjoyable than most CA's offices.

Try working in them. Actually when I was doing public accounting, I was out of the office as much or more than I was in it.

Edit: come on guys, I'm posting like 5 minutes apart and still getting merged by Beaker

Accountants

You posted a joke in which you said that humour was kryptonite to accountants.

Hence.. I was asking if you were comitting Sepukku with your post.

What do you mean joke? I thought I was being serious. Are you trying to get me in trouble with the Institute?

Edit: Hey, wait a minute. That's the 2nd funny post you write on this page. Are you sure you're an accredited accountant.

Btw Beak.. if you ever have to go through some civil law jurisprudence (like Banque National v. Houle).. talk to me about it. The guy who won at the Supreme court is 4 offices away from mine.

Thanks for the offer... but i think everything we are going through is common law.

I do appreciate it though... and if that changes will take you up on it.

If I get fired and my designation taken away from me, I'm blaming the two of you. I would sue you both except that won't get me very far. Damn lawyers have the whole deck stacked to their advantage.
