Are my eyes messing with me, or are the Leafs currently dominating the Wings?

No you are seeing a Leafs squad jacked to play the Cup Champs and a Wings team not as jacked.

Complete domination by the Leafs in this first half of the 2nd period... First on the puck... Cycling down low... Wings not keeping the puck...

It must be, I have the game on in the back ground. Every time I look over at it, it seems the Leafs have the Wings pressed in their own zone.

again, I understand the BGL factor, but it doesnt change the fact that overall, we are the same team of small guys plus 2 new small guys.
Lang isn't exactly small... so no we don't have 2 new small guys, we have 2 new big guys.....
I think Cherry is reacting to the organizational change... one we have all seen, and can identify... to go out and get a goon... Teams now have to think twice about running around on us in the ways that boston and Philly did last year. BGL does change that. And its not just BGL... but an organizational philosophy to add guys like Henry and Flynn at the AHL level.... If BGL is hurt and we still need the gooin. you can call up this guy.
Its like if you have a team with a decent but not great first line centre and a crappy second line centre. Suddenly one summer you go out and get the best first line centre in the game.... Now you've gone from a weakness to a strength in the middle cause your old first line centre becomes your second line guy. Now you have an elite first line centre... and your second lie centre is probably one of the best second liners in the league.
TK, Bouillion, and O'Byrne used to have to fight all the big guys on other teams... now they are the second and third options and the big guys have to deal with BGL first.

Seems to me that the non-presence of McCabe already benefit the Leafs. He would've either scored in his net or made 4 turnovers already....
Despite the Wings trying to come back, I just believe that the Leafs will keep it going.
Gainey is just bad.....I knew that by giving them Grabovski, that he would not let them have Tavares or Hedman...
By the way guys.....why are we looking to get Gaborik when in reality we had....Grabovski.....

What if it is all the presence of Grabovski?
was he what made the Habs great last year?
