Holy **** what is the defense doing? Too many odd-man rushes.

Sigh, I hate it when the D leave Kipper out to dry with those bounces.

The curse of the season opener.

The problem is what they're NOT doing.

I'm not criticizing his play but sometimes pulling the goalie is a wakeup call for the players.

Yes and now he's in the box for it. But what can you do...

I don't like being such a fairweather fan but I seriously feel like turning off the TV and playing some NHL 09 or LittleBigPlanet right now.

Ok, sorry! I actually had the same thought, but as people around here love to jump at Kipper hard and quickly and blame him for every single goal, I feel always tempted to stand up for him.

This team needs to start crashing and bangin' at Luongo's net.

When was the last time we won in Vancouver (besides that pointless game at the end of last year) ?

None of the goals have been Kipper fault.

And now that we are 3 behind it has really hurt our confidense and you can tell they are not the same team as they were in the first period. Vancouver is winning all the battles for the puck and they are just dancing through the Calgary D.

I see Bourque's being trying to stickhandle through walls a couple of times.

The game would be tied right now if Luongo didnt have pads 3 times as big as everybody else in the league!!!

I said the same thing in the Van GDT. Got to get Luongo off his game a bit.

Get in front of the net, crash the net, make life difficult for the goalie.

So far Calgary hasn't done much of that. If they can start doing this, it'll get closer.

Adam Pardy logging lots of ice time, and is looking pretty good in his NHL debut, laying a couple of nice hits, do you think he will be a starter this season instead of number 7

Was he the one who just hit Salo? That was nice.
