giroux>knuble,asham,cote,metro,ross

knuble is absolutely killing his line. offsides on one rush, passes right before the next and causes upshall to be off. he is useless tonight. lupul looks like great. im all for changing the lines up now. i like the way the first is playing but ross and metro cant center the thrid line. lupul and hartnell need a center that is present because metro and ross look lost. downie needs to come back and they need to find a way to put giroux in this line up

I wonder how much of a difference it really makes with the fact the Rangers have already played 3 regular season games before this game...I could see it being quite a help. However, the Flyers are supposed to be pros too, they should be prepared no matter what.
That's the other thing I blame. They played 2 games against TB and another against Chicago. This is basically like how college football teams play the ****** teams in the beginning of the year to build up their confidence before they play the better teams, only the Flyers didn't get that benefit.

Whats more likely to happen...Will we see Giroux next game or will Knuble be traded for a 7th rounder?

Lets get a poll going!

Keep exploring options for a veteran defenseman.

I'll give knuble the benefit of the doubt so far . . . but 5-10 more games like this and it might be time for old yeller to be taken out back.

Neither of them would classify as a checking line center (although I could see Giroux play third line Center and Metro play 4th line center).

NHL Center Ice is free right now...

Did anyone catch the Penguins intro?

They announced t he starting lineup and the announcer said:

Number 55: Sergei Gonchar..

Then proceeded to quickly move on to the next player, it was so funny.

Weak. This team always seems to be chasing play, instead of initiating it. It's the same frustrating problems that were present last season. Jesus, I hope that was all just nervous jitters and this team comes out in the second and plays like it has a backbone.

That period sucked ass. If Niitty gets scored on too, I'll go to sleep (it's 2 AM here). I hope the Flyers start putting pucks in the net soon. At least I saw two good fights so far.
